When do Stadium Renovations Start?

Post by bcats » Tue Dec 12, 2006 4:08 pm

I am tired of talking about Kramer and who will replace him. I don't want some players names dragged in the mud before anything concrete is said. I am excited about MSU Athletics and I see that the Track/Field Bobcat Plaza thing is going to be done. Does anyone know about the Skyboxes and when they will be built? Has anyone seen what they will look like and when construction starts? How about the indoor facility and bowling in the stadium? Is there anything new on these subjects? :D

I love bowling in the stadium - but the length of the field makes it harder to cover the 10-pin on spare conversions

I bowled with the MSU Bowling team, once! It was the NCAA regionals at Washington State. I had two scores of 99 during one match, I was so proud.

The Monday after we got back ASMSU pulled all the funding for all the clubs on campus, not because of my 99's, just general b.s..

Don't laugh too hard guys, because back when I was in MSU, we had a Bowling team - club sport, so you had to pay your own way, but we were pretty darn good!

I guess I was just so sick about reading all the rumors and what ifs that I got carried away. Guess I joke because I suck at bowling.

The bowling balls could look like our football helmets. The possibilities are endless. If only I had some eligibility left.

We could paint the pins to look like Bobby Hauck!

HA, HA! No it was mid-80s. Bowling was a club sport, just like baseball was at the time. I went to EMC my first year of college on a bowling scholarship, then transferred to MSU later (not bowling related  ). Being a club sport, we had to pay our own way and most of the tournaments were in places like Reno, Seattle, Boise, etc. Real hard to keep it up on a college wages. Bowled in a few tournaments then had to quit 'cause I had no money. But most of the guys on the team carried high 190-low 200 averages.

Could bowling be a great Title IX alternative to women's soccer?!

Yeah, but I prefer to watch good looking chicks take their shirt after scoring a goal  Not as pretty a site with bowlers

I love the fun here, but is there a real answer to this topic?
