Something other than Kramer...
I just was told that 2-3 football players were arrested for drug charges this weekend. I know the names but will not post them. I am TIRED of this crap happening. We need to clean house even if it hurts the team.

If true (and if for distribution as opposed to mere possession), my feelings are to get rid of the players immediately, do an intense investigation within the program to make sure that nobody else is considering making bad decisions of this kind ... and perhaps a coaching transition will be a good opportunity to examine the oversight responsibilities within the program in order to prevent this sort of thing from happening again.

No names that I recognize (as football players or other atheletes) on the jail roster for Monday morning, which they would have to be if arrested this weekend as that is the soonest they could see a judge to get bond set.
Only other scenario would be misdemeanor charges (marijuana) where they were ticketed and released.

The roster has not been updated since 12/5. They are still in jail.Ponycat wrote:No names that I recognize (as football players or other atheletes) on the jail roster for Monday morning, which they would have to be if arrested this weekend as that is the soonest they could see a judge to get bond set.

Here is today's. The name that is recognizable is someone who was dismissed from the team long ago. This, by the way, is that persons second run in with the law.

I see that, there is a "generic" name that rings a bell that I saw before that one. As I said before, I hope its differentPonycat wrote:http://www.gallatin.mt.gov/Public_Docum ... 1-00BD9105

Now that I think about it I don't think this is a topic anyone should comment on until it is confirmed.MSU01 wrote:I would think it is different because that person is listed as already having been sentenced.
