Seeing the team outta town

I spoke with one of the directors in Alumni relations about the possibility of promoting our community seeing the team off. I heard they are leaving on Thursday and it would be great to see people lined up down 11th street or Kagy or Lincoln (whatever way the busses will be leaving for the airport) to greet the team out of town. We can make signs and banners and just let them know that though many of us can't make it to Boone we are supporting them as much as we can!!!

I'll do some more research with Alumni Relations...any one out there have contacts with the athletics department to find out their travel plans...do you think they could get a police escort to the airport?

I was thinking the exact same thing. I am going up to the football office in the morning and will find out when they leave.
