Women's Basketball Opening

The ladies opened their season tonight, and won over MSU-Billings by the score of 75-69. They were really sluggish for the first half, but picked it up into the second half to come from behind and win. A lot of the new players contributed and they found a way to win. The ladies still have quite a ways to go, but they'll get there.

Speed is a good thing, and Rebecca Mercer can flat fly -- even with the ball. She will be fun to watch.

There is some flat out hustle on this team. Rebounding needs some work but they'll have to get past our guards to get a shot off.
