I am proud of this team for responding the way they did. Kudos go out to everyone (Coaches/Players you name it). We had a LOT of people step up this week and I am so happy for everyone that their hard work paid off. We are 1-1 and still VERY MUCH in the conference race and can beat anyone on our schedule if we play like we did this past weekend. The kids looked like they were having fun out there which is what its suppossed to be about. Great gameplan by the coaches on both sides of the ball as well. The Cats outplayed AND outcoached them.

Not only are we still in it, but we still control our own destiny. If we can put a stop to these damn injuries, and start getting some guys back to full strength we could be in for a late title run.
I hope these guys keep raising the intensity. It would be nice to see us get stronger every week from here on out.

The Cats looked good. A lot of players stepped up and I really think that our reserves really played well. Papich's replacement Kinkelaar and the rest of the D-line took on blockers and opened up lanes for the Linebackers to blitz. We have talent and depth lets hope these guys can come back and perform. If we finish strong Kramer's job might be saved but if we go back to "the same old Cats" and struggle at home than something will have to be done. If you want to know where this team is watch the game Saturday because PSU is tough and a win puts us in a collision course with the Griz for the Big Sky. Go Cats!
