This was a huge win for the Cats but the thing that stood out the most for me was after blowing a 15 point lead and having NAU tie the game, we could have folded. We did not, we drove down the field and capped off the drive with an amazing catch in the back of the endzone.
There were people on this board this week talking about how we needed leaders to step up on this team and make big plays (myself included) and we saw that in this game against NAU. We still have a long road ahead but this team looks like it is finally starting to gel.
Oh by the way, Mason can run......just think when Groves comes back we will have a sophomore and a freshman that can break the big one. We should be good in the backfield for a long time.
What this win really showed

Yeah, and then we have the ability to rest them a series or two and not lose a step. Last night there were a couple times Mason got tired or nicked up a little and we went exclusively to the pass on those series and either stalled or went 3 and out. With Groves and Mason that won't happen
