Is there anywhere I could get a copy (on line)? I would like to take a look at it.

This whole roster situation actually brings up another point that maybe needs it's own thread, or maybe has been discussed already.
It really bothers me that MSU doesn't keep up with UM in areas that are outside of, but that support athletics. UM has better facilities and I realize that over the last 10-15 years they have really done well athletically and earned nationwide recognition. That is great, but why can't MSU have as good of a website, or why can't MSU get cups at McDonalds, why can't MSU have apparel on Eastbay.com? There are many areas like this. The website really bothers me. MSU's is rarely up-to-date and if a sport is out of season it is hardly addressed. When UM announced their 2006 recruits in February you could go to their website and watch a video of each player as well as commentary by Bobby on each player. We were lucky if MSU even listed all the players. Right now there are many players (Jefferson and Wheaton included) that don't even have a picture on the roster link on MSU's site. We should be proud of what we have accomplished and tout it like UM does. Is it a money issue or why does this happen?

You mean kind of like everything on the BN site except the message board.Billings_Griz wrote:Probably just not updated. Kinda like the poll on the BN homepage.

the football roster got updated today on the web. For all you who complain about MSU lagging, why don't you open up your pocketbooks? Montana has 3 people on staff who work on the web alone--MSU has zip. $$$$ issue, people. Everything costs money. And if you want to complain about apparel, etc., don't bother complaining to athletics. They don't even get to market their own gear--the university does it.

Seems like this would be a great way to put some students in the Computer Science area to use with student projects then etc. That would be great experience for them and wouldn't cost a dime?oldcatfan wrote:the football roster got updated today on the web. I don't think it was complaining....I gave some examples and asked if anyone knew why. I believe I even specifically asked if it was a money issue. It is frustrating but I can completely understand dollars. So don't tell me to get out my pocketbook.oldcatfan wrote:the football roster got updated today on the web. Noticed a couple of things on the new roster. Reyshawn Bobo is listed as a junior linebacker transfer from Washington State. Hadn't noticed him before. Wonder if he is any relation to Philip Bobo who was an outstanding Wazzu rb a few years ago. If so, we may have another gifted linebacker.
Also, I see a freshman from Spokane named Joe Roberts. Can this be the son of former Bobcat DB and forever remembered hero for "THE INTERCEPTION", Joe Roberts? I know Joe resides in Spokane.

Bobo was mentionned about 3 months ago as transferring here. I don't know if that is his brother.raincat wrote:Noticed a couple of things on the new roster. That's a great question on Joe Roberts. It's got to be a relative.
