There was a mention in the Spokesman Review Eastern Blog that a rumor was going around that Mick Durham was going to resign....take it for what it's worth...

I kind of don't want hime to resign for the sake of our young guys here. I don't want any of them leaving because Mick does. If Mick resigns, I just want it to be for the head coaching position. I would want him to stay on the staff.info197176 wrote:There was a mention in the Spokesman Review Eastern Blog that a rumor was going around that Mick Durham was going to resign....take it for what it's worth...

That is my biggest worry - how many recruits said something alone these lines in interviews - "I wanted to play in a stable program with a long-term coach". I'm worried if he leaves, so do some of the recruits I am looking forward to seeing.longhorn_22 wrote:I kind of don't want hime to resign for the sake of our young guys here. Re: Durham "Rumor"
That may happen, but keep in mind we have had several players leave the program mid-stream even with Mick as head coach. If Mick were to leave, you can still try to sell these kids on the program, facilities, community, etc. There is no guarantee that even if Mick stays that all the current Cats also stay. It's just nature of the beast.CelticCat wrote:That is my biggest worry - how many recruits said something alone these lines in interviews - "I wanted to play in a stable program with a long-term coach".
