The Unofficial Unofficial Game Day Thread - Cats-Mercyhurst
It's deja vu all over again. Mercyhurst is back.
Mercyhurst stepped in last year after Stephen F. Austin bailed. Last year was their first in the FCS. Question is, will they be better this year with last year under their belt? Tomorrow we find out.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

I think Mercyhurst has improved but MSU isn't a good matchup for them. They've improved on offense (passing game) and defense is where MSU has looked it's best so far this season. SAC scored on its final six possessions excluding taking a knee at the end. They turned it over on downs deep in their own territory and fumbled prior to that. This will most likely be MSU's best running performance to date this year, statistically. I'll be counting how many 20+ plays Mercyhurst gets vs the main unit.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

I had a feeling this would be a blow out. San Diego seems to be digressing each game. San Diego is just bad, and keep shooting themselves in the foot with giving Princeton decent field position.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 10:33 amPrinceton is running at will on San Diego... its 21-0 in the first.

74 yards on 12 carries. Princeton broke one for 55. The other 11 carries have only gone for 19 yards. Really wouldn’t say that’s running at will.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 10:33 amPrinceton is running at will on San Diego... its 21-0 in the first.

San Diego is mounting a bit of a comeback, they're now down 35-21 with the ball. Rohan Jones has two TDs today for Arkansas.
