Big Sky Pick'EM Week 11
Thought I would post this to have something other than the election for us to think about today.
All teams are playing this weekend. NAU and Idaho continue to seek 7 Div 1 wins.
EWU 38 @ 24 NC --- The Eagles has given the top Big Sky teams decent games, the Bears have not. The Bears are hosting, but Eagles offence finds a way to win this road game.
ISU 30 @ 24 Weber --- It appears the BBQ's have given up on the season. Will they be up for this rivalry game? The Bengals have shown improvement and are continuing to show fight in their games.
Sac 20 @ 48 MSU --- Hornets appear to be returning to suck state. The Bobcats being at home could have a hay day in this one.
UI 27 @ 32 PSU --- The Vandals need 1 more win to earn 7, but are on the road against a middling to good Vikings team. I give the edge to the home team. How many fans will be at this game?
NAU 32 @ 17 CP --- NAU fighting for the 7 Div 1 win total on the road against a weak Aggie team.
UC Davis 32 @ 38 UM --- Game of the week for the Big Sky. Is the Griz defense improved or did the cellar dweller teams make it look good? This game will tell. I do think it has improved, but will it be enough? Meanwhile, the Aggies offense has caught fire the past 3 games. This will be an interesting game and will affect seeding.

Re: Big Sky Pick'EM Week 11
I think there's a pretty good chance that more road teams will win this weekend than home teams. Could be 5 of 6, but I just don't see UCD, getting the win @ wagris ...
Would love to see e, though!
EWU
ISU
MSU
UI
NAU

EWU 23, UNC 20 - was the MSU game EWU's last hurrah or will they stay motivated for the last three games? I say the former but still...it's UNC
ISU 28, Weber 27 - what the heck is going on with Weber this year?
MSU 45, Sac 10 - An easy win we didn't see coming at the start of the year. Weber and Sac have really regressed big time without their prior coaches Hill and Taylor.
Idaho 28, PSU 21 - Vandals slow down Chachere just enough to stay in contention for a first round bye.
NAU 34, Poly 14 - the Jacks have way more to play for.
Davis 45, Griz 35 - We find out that allowing 7 combined points to UNC and Cal Poly doesn't mean the defense is fixed after all.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

EWU Like last week UNC has given up.
CATS SAC is too beat up to keep up
ISU ISU is improving as year goes and takes a close one on the road.
IDAHO getting healthy
NAU keeps slim playoff hopes alive
DAVIS Larison is going to have BIG day.
4 - 1 last week, damn you SAC! 58 - 17 overall.

As much as I hate the gris, I almost hope they win and take Davis down a notch or two before we go down there. But, I expect Davis to win big.
And, after that loss, and after we embarrass them, I expect Bobby to be shown the door. Hey, we can dream...
Otherwise, us, EWU, UI, NAU, and ISU.

Re: Big Sky Pick'EM Week 11
I really don’t want Bobby fired or to leave. I just don’t think he is that great in Round Two of Bobby in Missoula. They made it to Frisco last year, and I will give credit where credit is due. But you look at every other season and it’s been a mess. I do not want to think about what that program could look like with a good coach.Augustus wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 10:03 amAs much as I hate the gris, I almost hope they win and take Davis down a notch or two before we go down there.
