FCS Games 10/12

Post by Bocephus » Sat Oct 12, 2024 8:54 am

Don’t see much resistance in MVFC today. South Dakota is sneaking up on DSU’s.

We’ll see if they can right the ship today in Missoula.

Despite the prediction of a 14pt gris win, I have a feeling that NAU just might pull off an upset...and what a wonderful day it would be.

I haven't done any research to back this up but I don't think NAU pulls off upsets on the road. They are a home upset kind of team. Think of the times when NAU shocks an opponent. Where was the game?

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I believe NAU is missing their QB. I think if their defense can limit the points it can definitely be a good game. No shot gris cover that unless NAU offense is pathetic.

No research needed. NAU rarely beats good teams on the road but they’re a headache at home.

I’m not sure if it was the last time NAU played UM but not long ago they went in there with a chance to win and their QB (Case Cookus?) who was the reason they had a chance, was ejected for targeting.

They nearly knocked off Idaho in the Kibbie Dome. I could see them finding a way today… or the gris finding a way to lose

With their defense (or lack thereof), it is entirely possible.

I'm not holding my breath, mind you, but NAU is my second favorite team in college football...today. First is always the Cats, and second is whoever is playing Missoula Community College.

Well, I guess you could say that. They almost got into scoring range at the end.

They could get better on defense. Doesn’t seem like they have the personnel to run the defense they’re using. They might simplify it as a means to minimize the damage. ???

This game is Kevin Marshall's "upset special of the week." Here's hoping...

I have a hard time believing the gris will drop 2 in a row at home. Even though I’m rooting for Brian Wright, I think Gris win by 2 scores.

The CAA is hot garbage. Give em the one auto bid into the playoffs and that’s it.
