Parking services is going to kill the tailgate atmosphere. They are so disconnected from the game day experience. Collect your money and lock you out of your spots until 4 hours before. It takes us almost an hour to set up and then you have to head in about an hour before to make sure you get in. So I drive 3 hours to have 2 hours to enjoy my tailgate friends for 2 hours.

I am one to agree. They also quit putting out ash barrels anywhere north of Kagy.
They quit putting out the smaller garbage cans along that sidewalk as well which as a result of it in more passersby randomly throwing garbage into our tailgate area. Are you still cleaning up but it’s a pain

Yes, they definitely should consider extending tailgating time, no good reason to lock people out before hand

So, is this real? The tailgate lots are inaccessible until four hours before kickoff? I know that’s always been a rule. But never enforced. I have been considering getting on the waitlist for a spot. But I won’t waste my time if this is being enforced.

New rules I guess. We used to set up my friend’s tailgate at 5am for Cat-Griz, go back to sleep for a few hours, and be back by 8 ready to roll with a noon kickoff when I’d come from Portland for the weekend.

Parking services since they took over the tailgate is bush league. They don’t honor any agreements implied or otherwise from Montana State University. Lock us out of the Tailgate RV spots that we’ve paid for for over a decade. Guess I’m just old and not changing with the times and don’t like taking it in the shorts.
