The Vandals have completely retooled from last season-pretty much all new faces. They added some size and athleticism for sure and they'll be a problem for somebody down the line. Their big, Jones, leads the league in scoring, but he was in foul trouble all game and Belo and Osobor ate him up pretty good. Their other big scorer, Moffitt, got going late, but Ford and Brown kept him from going totally off. Battle picked up two fouls on the first two possessions of the game and sat the whole first half. He still lit up the second half. Idaho tried to collapse on Belo. That left shooters wide open. Patterson had his best game since the Big Sky title game last season. He didn't start tonight-maybe coming off the bench works better for him?
Good win tonight. EWU beat the griz in Missoula so they're coming into Bozeman hot on Saturday. Good crowd tonight and we'll need even better on New Year's afternoon.

Re: MBB vs Idaho
I think Patterson hitting the threes was the difference. We need some consistency outside....not rely so much on Belo to score down low. 15 points or so from TP every game will be key. Go Cats!!

It was very good to see Patterson shooting the way we know he can.Catfanatic84 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 8:05 amI think Patterson hitting the threes was the difference.
