That would be interesting. Though I don't see it happening.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Kramer entertain the thought of a drop down QB either. Kramer doesn't exactly give a player faith, they have to earn it, and keep earning it. Carpenter and Coppack may be great, but there is an unknown. A more proven, higher potential guy comes knocking, and Kramer has himself another, insurance policy, QB.
It is so interesting the recruiting styles of Kramer and Hauck. I kind of like much of what each does. But don't like everything they do for sure.

on a side note, ryan leaf has been spending an awful lot of time in bozeman lately. he has been to several cat games, and has often times talked about his dislike for the griz. not saying that if his bro transfers it will be to msu, but just saying the possibility of persuasion would be there.JahGriz wrote:That would be interesting. never said he lives here. i have no idea about that. just saying that you see him around a lot. let's not forget that despite his very unsuccessful nfl career, he had a VERY successful signing bonus! he could by a home in every town in the state if he wanted. just want it to be clear that i have no idea about leaf at all except that i have seen him out-and-about in bozeman often.BozoneCat wrote:Ryan Leaf lives in Bozeman now. I have also seen him in his very large black pickup. I don't know if he is living in Bozeman now, but about 2 months back I know he stayed at a hotel in Bozeman for a couple of nights. The thought of us getting a QB the quality of Brady Leaf would be a good one, so lets hope that Ryan's dislike of UM is enough to convince Brady to go to MSU.

You can see him out and about at the Garden Bar in Bigfork during the summer... if that means anything.whitetrashgriz wrote:never said he lives here. i have no idea about that. just saying that you see him around a lot. let's not forget that despite his very unsuccessful nfl career, he had a VERY successful signing bonus! he could by a home in every town in the state if he wanted. just want it to be clear that i have no idea about leaf at all except that i have seen him out-and-about in bozeman often.BozoneCat wrote:Ryan Leaf lives in Bozeman now. He's there every year, always wearing his cowboy hat and sunglasses all night long. I hate it when people wear sunglasses either indoors or at night, that is one of my pet peeves!Shakermaker wrote:You can see him out and about at the Garden Bar in Bigfork during the summer... if that means anything.

On a side note... Brady may not be what we want or need. I have a relative that played with him and his impression was that his skills were not anywhere near as impressive as the coaches wanted them to be. He was slow footed, (still is) and not great at all out of the pocket. He is tall and a drop back thrower. Has a nice arm, but as an athlete not very gifted. He probably fits better with the Ducks and he knows it. I doubt he transfers.
If he did it would be to be closer to mommie...

If his attitude is the same as Ryan's, we don't want him.profisme wrote:I have also seen him in his very large black pickup. There is a little of the "Leaf"isms present I've heard.KillintheGriz wrote:If his attitude is the same as Ryan's, we don't want him.profisme wrote:I have also seen him in his very large black pickup. Ryan Leaf may be going to the griz but Brady Leaf will stay with the UO Ducks. Wasn't Brady playing QB against Washington State last Saturday??? Didn't the Ducks beat um this year??? The Ducks are simply a bigger and better football program than the griz. PERIOD. Oh yeah, NFL possibilities are better at UO.
You can bad mouth Brady Leaf all you want and the griz can wish all they want for Brady to transfer to um, but Brady knows he soon will be the man at UO. Besides, give Brady some credit for learning from Ryan's public relations mistakes. Brady stays a Duck.

then why does he stay at hotels when he is here? one of the reasons that you hear so much about him being in town is the after-hour parties he throws in his hotel rooms. seems to me if he lived here, in a house, there would be no need to stay at hotels to throw parties. imo.BozoneCat wrote:I'm saying that he does, in fact, live in Bozeman - at least, that is what I have been told by people I trust.
