Rumor Mill

Post by autocat » Tue Oct 25, 2005 10:36 pm

This is well investigated information, please read at your own risk. Griz fans who post on this web-site don't bother respondingyou have no creditability. (Why don't Griz fans post after losing?) Those Griz fans that do post here are complete embarrassments to the University. You need to "pool" your liberal arts degrees together and find employment.(I heard both Walmarts in Missoula are hiring)

We can start with Bobby Hauck: I heard Bobby plans on "plugging' himself for another D1 job prior to the national championship game this year, rumor has it that he still wants the Notre Dame job.(somebody tell him Charlie W has the Irish program under control.)Hauck recently met privately with Governor Schweitzer. The governor suggested that Bobby should improve his appearance on his T.V. program by wearing more bolo-ties. Bobby response was, "where do I get the ties from" Schweitzer metioned robbing grandpa's closet.

Recently Wayne Hogan phoned the UM looking for his old job back, he said something about his credit cards were maxed-out and needed work.

Heard Don Read said he would come back and coach the Griz again when the program loses consecutive games.

Speaking of consecutive losses. How about Cowboy Joe down in Laramie! Joe has said he still likes Laramie over Missoula, straighter women and cleaner air. Cowboy Joe is still "hot" property in the coaching arena. It's rumored that Tulane wants to hire Joe not to coach football, but to coach the water polo team. It seems as though the water level is still high and the University is thinking of dropping football and adding water polo. (For you liberal arts graduates, Tulane is in New Orleans)

Please support Griz radio announcers Mick Holien and Sarah Gurnsey. Mick suffers from self-esteem issues here is his phone #'s (406) 544-2478 fax 406-523-5221 and email address. mygrizvox@bresnan.net Please give him some much needed support. I really feel Mick is close to landing that first job ( I heard Safeway and Target are both hiring) We've all been in Mick's shoe's before, just hoping some company will hire us for that first job. Please call, fax or email Mick he could use are help.

Rumor has it that Gurnsey has been seen cross-dressing at some Missoula area night-clubs.Witnesses have said it was the wig and the heavy make-up that was the dead-give-away. Gurnsey has reportedly said that there are dozens of males that could be potential clients.

I hate to report that are beloved Monte was not selected for the Capital One All-American Mascot Team. Capital One has reported that Monte was not selected this year due to ballot-box-stuffing the prevoius 2 years. Rumor has it that "the person" wearing Monte dunce helmet has been doubling as a stripper at night. (I always thought a person would really have to practice those moves to get really good at it)

Supposedly Dave Dickenson is playing football in Canada somewhere? (says something about the greatest athlete to come out of Montana! according to ESPN.) ESPN reported later that the online voting ballot boxes were also stuffed. Hey! Why not current Griz basketball coach Larry K as Montana's greatest athlete at least he played inthe NBA!

It is reported that the Griz are going to bring back the "old school" jerseys, that one color, Well I'm not sure how to describe that one color. You could probably find the color match in the bottom of your underwear.

There is a top Quarterback in California that is considering the University of Montana. He said the University's 30 day winter classes would be benificial for his academic success.

And last but not least:

There was a poll recently taken involving college football tradition. The question was: What school has the greatest football tradition? Notre Dame was the school recieving the most votes. Yes if you can believe it the University of Montana was second, I know it hard to believe!! The University of Montana was later eliminated from the poll. Why you ask? The reason for disqualification was that each school was required to have had football for at least 50 years or more. UM has only had football for the past 15 years, the program was non-existent prior 1990

I can just picture autocat giggling like a little school girl as he typed that weak attempt at humor. Unoriginal as it is auto, at least you compiled all the various jabs at UM that have already been mentioned repeatedly.
Nice try though, it does take coordination to flip burgers and type at the same time.

Jah, why are you going to knock his smack? This is MUCH better then the crap Scats, BearBAC or UM2002 post. If he would have posted something like this on egriz (anti-bobcat) you guys would shower him with praise. You much like all other griz fans are being hypocritical.

Funny; that's remarkably similar to what I was thinking about you after reading your post. Mine was slightly different though; I was thinking that you should probably grab a (turned on) TV set and *jump in* a "pool."

Now Jag, you don't have to stick up for your little brother. I don't think UM02 could “keep up” with a class of special education students- physically, emotionally or mentally.

I wouldn't have showered that post with praise had it been cat related, I would not have responded. Though I'm not real big into smack, or at least not starting it. I know better, what goes around comes around. Complaining about bandwagon fans, is my case in point. Cats have filled their wagon, can't smack the Griz about that until the ship starts sinking again. Which I don't see happening any time soon though.

Clearly, you would know a lot more than I about how people respond to insanity.

His initial post had *some* decent smack in it, but it could have benefitted from observance of the adage that sometimes "less is more." Overall, I would rate it at a 5.7.

The stuff he has posted since the initial post, on the other hand, gets a zero (although I don't doubt that the poster probably ran down the hallway of his dorm high-fiving an imaginary row of people after he finished typing each post).
