On yesterday's show Harvey (in his inimitable style) pointed out that Gorbachav told Condi Rice (or Bush not sure which) that the US quest to spread democracy across the globe isn't going to work because 1) not everyone likes democracy and 2) (pause for effect) very few like the U.S. (These could be two big stumbling blocks).
He added that Bush's approval rating now down to 39% and that only 28% of Americans think we're headed in the proper direction.
