Griz @ Hornets

Post by PapaG » Sat Nov 02, 2013 5:07 pm

Hell of a game, and tied at 38 mid-way through the 4th.

Wish I could watch it on TV.

Both defenses are simply terrible, looking at the play by play. The Griz pass defense is just awful.

I am watching it. Both defenses seem soft in the middle. The biggest weakness I see though is the Griz OLine vs the Sac State front 7. Sac State is getting a lot of pressure up the middle.

Sac State QB is good, but left the game injured for the second time this game last series. If he can't come back it's over and the Griz seal this one.

Safron is impressive! He has fangs on his mouth guard and looks dumb, but he has made some excellent throws and is fast.

Slingbox at my parents house in MT. We don't even get Root down here anymore so I watch all games via Slingbox. Then I put it in my tv via Apple TV.

Don't know if I agree with going for two though...

Ballsy call here, then they called a timeout, and now are going to kick the PAT.

Tie game, looking like OT

Okay maybe not. Had vision of the 1997 Cat-griz game. Seriously bad flashback there.

Without watching it, I'm getting flashbacks to the 2010 MSU game at Sacto that went to OT, and also featured zero defense.

I am happy to discuss a BSC game as it is happening in the thread where the discussion should be. If I could watch EWU and ISU right now I'd be doing that too.

Anybody else jealous of teams with the ability to kick field goal?

Yes. UM and MSU seem to be competing as to which team can have the most incompetent place kicking game!
