Well I guess that it is going to be a cellar year for NAU. I really thought that NAU would be a sleeper of a team this year. I wonder what is going on over there...Four coaching positions just opened at NAU.
What is going on there?

There is a similar post on AGS- noone seems to know if they walked or were axed, but it's poor timing one way or the other.
Have to agree with Quast though, it seems mighty that the personel office is seeking resumes with a June 27 deadline.

Just thought I'd post the requirements for the NAU Offensive Coordinator position
http://hr.nau.edu/m/job/298/313/554956
Interesting timing. Souers must really be feeling the heat to produce this year. The position officially opened on June 13.
The only Offensive Coach listed is Gary Guthmiller - who incidentally used to coach here at Carroll.

Apparently NAU had to advertise the openings even though temporary coaches have been hired.

From reading the artical, it looks like all the NAU coaches were in place before spring practice. So that shouldn't be a problem. About the only problem would be some effect to the recruiting that was going on during January/Feb.
I don't think it will be as big an issue as might be thought.
When you get blown out by MSU like they were at HOME. Something has to happen. Not surprised several are gone, to typically save the head coach his job.
