Detailing Help

Post by BearCat » Thu Jul 15, 2010 2:06 am

Hey All -

I usually get my nice vehicle detailed every summer after the majority of the crap weather has passed. I skipped last year because I couldn't justify spending the money on it and never had the time. So of course, I'm over ready for it and am feeling grody in my rig. Where is the best place in Bozeman to have your vehicle professionally detailed? I've gone to Ressler once and will never go back again. I'm anxious to hear your replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance!!!

I don't have an answer for you, but I just wanted to say taht Ressler is the worst dealership/repair shop I have ever been to. 6 years later I'm still having problems with the door shell & window after they replaced the motor for the window in 2004.

Terrible customer service, and no accountability.

Why would I tip them after paying them good money to provide the service?

Fine. I guess I can tip them for detailing my rig. I'll tip them the same as I do a bartender....$.50. Now, does anyone actually have any actual advice on the subject or are we just going to continue bringing up the tipping thing after every post I make?

Hmmmm, I typed this yesterday, not sure why it is not here. There is a place right across from Perkins, next to the Grateful Shed, that I took my car to once. Was pretty pricey but well worth it. They did a bang up job for me. But I think it has new owners now and not sure about their quality of work.

I just got my vehicle back this afternoon from Detail Express, the place gocats was referring to. I have to say they did an AMAZING job! I couldn't be happier. They take the time there to make sure that every expectation you have is met. They even called me to ask me if they could keep it a couple hours longer to get a couple of spots and blemishes out they were struggling with. When I walked in they had a baggie of loose change and odds/ends they ended up finding in the nooks and crannies. I thought this was very admirable as they could just as easily kept it. They even owned up to scratching the tint on my passenger side window. They offered to pay for it to be replaced or take the quote ($40) off of my bill. Very cool.

All in all they are a top notch business that has earned my business and recommendation to anyone who might be in need of their services.

If your vehicle is in need of detailing, please keep Detail Express in mind!

Please tell me that you didn't give them the baggie of change as a tip
