Cellphone Help
So which is it: Blackberry, Android or Windows? I'm seriously looking to step into the 21st century and upgrade to a smart phone. A lot of people I work with have Droids; work email is set up that I could access it through Blackberry. Have had Windows Mobile devices in the past and kind of have a feel for them. Kind of looking at the Droid X release on the 15th, but I'm also kind of a cheapskate at heart and have a hard time swallowing $200 for a frickin phone. On top, of course, my cell bill going up to $140 a month. What say the Nation????

Re: Cellphone Help
I'm on my third Blackberry and even though I drug my feet in getting one I love it! I have a Storm now and it took awhile to get used to the touch screen but I wouldn't go back now.

Re: Cellphone Help
I reserved a Droid X for the release tomorrow.
I just never had a practical need for a smartphone until now. Shortly, I'll be needing to sync up my email. That for me is the only reason why I'll be getting a smartphone.
I had considered the HTC Incredible, but they've pushed back its release at least 5 times since I've been able to upgrade, which was June 1. I asked a couple of techie friends what they would recommend and they both said Droid X. There are probably a lot of features I'll never use, but I figure it's better to have them and not need them then to need them and not have them.
I'm kind of a caveman user: Phone ring, talk. Press button. Grunt.

Re: Cellphone Help
Get the Droid!!!
I have a Droid for personal use and a Blackberry for work and there is simply no comparison! Especially the new Droid being a WiFi hot spot you will find you can do so much with the phone you don't need a lot of other devices. The Droid is a phone, email/internet device, GPS for Navigation, Portable music(not just MP3s but streaming from the web), Alarm Clock, Golf Scorecard and Rangefinder, Portable TV(via Slingbox), replaces all the membership cards on your keyring, tracks your distance while running or biking, a speedometer, a walkie talkie(with other Droid users), a portable gaming device, a weather station, etc.
Did I mention it's a pretty good phone too?

Re: Cellphone Help
I recently had to get a replacement phone and after much consideration I got the same BB I had before. The droid is bad ass but it isnt a BB.
Both are great phones.
