Good idea--I'd like to have one. However, you can own a second tank and fill it so you have a backup for the $45.00 it costs for one of these. I'd say they are overpriced.

Yep it's nearly $70.00 for two of them with shipping.

wow. that is a ripoff. but i admit probably at least 3 times a year i fire up the grill to let it heat up only to go back out 20 minutes later to find it's out of propane! #-o then i gotta waste 20 minutes to get a refill. :oops:

This is a huge rip off!! the last time I bought a BBQ cylinder, I think I paid $30 for a brand new one that was full!

good idea..... or, you can just pour hot water on your tank to see how much propane you have left.
