I think that would look best. Hell, I wish the existing boxes would have been built on the student side, because a lot of people don't see them every time they drive by or go to a game. It would make our stadium look soooo much better.
Of course, both sides is always better.

You guys are doing the best you can with what you have but honestly I would just knock those aluminum bleachers over build new. I mean really I always think about A Cat on a Hot Tin Roof when I see those things. Well hot tin bleachers anyway. I mean really can you call it a stadium? It’s more like going to mini-storage with all those tin buildings and chain link fences. Actually a mini-storage is nicer because it lacks those sh**ty little wooden High School bleachers in the end zones.
Just an outside observation. I would like the Cats to build a good stadium too but I just don't think you can do it remodeling what you have.

Wow that was such a lame come back I'm almost speechless. I'm embarrassed for you........
Not to mention that I don't hate the Cats.

Posts like this are totally uncalled for and the guy is obviously a jackass Griz fan that is trying to start something. I don't know where to start with how wrong he is, so I will just say this.
He gives your stadium way to much credit.
There are nicer structures in Butte for god's sake. It reminds me of the shacks the Montana highway department has next to the sand piles on the side of the road, for sanding in the winter. Yours is just on a larger scale and substitute the sand for mud where you tailgate.

That's funny, because I just think of a big retaining wall when I see yours. I mean, concrete? How original! Oh, I get it.....it doubles as a flood control basin for after the Blackfoot and Clark Fork confluence is restored.
I know you had to dig a big "groover" because Washington Construction doesn't know how to "go up." And besides, at that time, you needed all the help you could get with crowd noise.
Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

If it's such a lame comeback why do your fans use it all the time? Because they are lame? Garbage in, garbage out.
But what's your point? What prompted you to bring this up?
Our stadium, to the neutral observer is very nice. It's very nice as a stand alone stadium and it's especially nice relative to other FCS structures in the country.
It's also nice when compared to W/G in Missoula. The boxes are better, the Stadium Club (you don't have one) is better. The Stadium Level (you don't have one) is better. The playing surface (grass vs. plastic or even mud vs. plastic) is better. The view is better.

A lot of teams have concrete, just not the cracked/leaking kind that Washington Griz has

Gotta love those flooded lockerooms! I bet the Griz players use a lot of Desenex!

For our newer Griz fan posters ... let's try to limit the smack to the smack board. That keeps the threads on the main board a lot cleaner and keeps them from going dark-side.

Please elaborate on why the posts above are smack?
You do have tin sheds and chain link for a stadium with a muddy parking lot you call a tailgate area. Facts are not smack.
If anything a few of your posters are the ones creating the hostile posting environment. Maybe spread this pointed accusation out a little?
Not that I care, just want to be fair about things.

The intent to take the thread into smack was not subtle.

You are right, the tailgating at MSU does rock! And yes it is also fun in the MUD! Go have your wine and cheese ... move on.

Hey I said I would like the Cats to have a good stadium in my first thread these guys are just taking this all the wrong way.
You guys are really the only Cat fans I have ever met who would dare to say your tin bleachers are better than WG but hey its your opinion and I respesct that although it makes you look blind.
Hey I like the Cats all but one day a year but your bleachers suck.

Sorry we don't sit down when watching the game anyway so its not a big issue. I heard the Griz stands actually have pull out TV trays where you can slice cheese while they are watching the circus. That is a pretty cool feature.

Are you back to that stupid standing line. I thought we put that to rest 2 years ago. The only standing I saw at the NDSU game was people standing in line to get a coke.
Never mistake activity for accomplishment.

Yes, they don't have seats in the concession line
