I heard that the BAC has entered the portal. Trying to transfer to SMU, so they don't have to change any letters.

Looks like they are working on landscaping today. Will be nice to see it all come together.

Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
2 Questions:
1. Are they going to add some type of "molding" along the roof to keep the top material from flopping in the wind?
2. Does anyone know what they are putting down for a surface between the BAC and the field? I sure hope it is not asphalt.

Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
For the 1st question, they aren't done with the siding and that has to be completed before all the roof molding is finished.
and we are almost to 50 pages on this video feed. And while I was typing this in, Robbie Hauck got credit for 6 solos and 3 assists.

As for # 2 It will be asphalt. It cheaper and hopefully it will be gone within a few years when the north endzone seating is built

In some areas being a hustler has some shady connotations

I like your optimism and I hope you are correct but I'd be very surprised if any permanent north end zone seating is finished within the next 10 years.

Which is one reason I did not want asphalt. I prefer turf but would be ok with concrete. If they open that area during games (which I think is the plan) standing on asphalt will be hot and hard on the body.AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:10 pm"..gone within a few years when the north end zone is built"norcal cat wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 2:20 pmAs for # 2 It will be asphalt. For the first month of the season maybe. After that, a little warm asphalt on a cold late October afternoon might feel pretty darn good to some... And it melts snow faster than concrete, too!gtapp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 3:14 pmWhich is one reason I did not want asphalt. I prefer turf but would be ok with concrete. Looks like they are getting btween the BAC and field ready for asphalt. They finsihed grading and rolling the area this morning. Also, they have already planted a lot of shrubs and trees around the building. Starting to look really nice.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:09 pmFor the first month of the season maybe. Took a drive up to Big Sky today and stopped for a bit in Bozeman to look at the BAC construction. Tip for the day; Don't order the fried chicken sandwich at the Big Sky Deluxe Grill. Worst chicken sandwich I've ever had.

Thanks AFCAT! I was hoping someone would post updated photos. As usual, you came through again. Looking forward to seeing it in person next month.

Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
I’m scheduled for a tour on 11 Sep. Apparently, Vigen said they were moving into the building at the end of August, which looks like wishful thinking. I wish I could see how far along the construction is on the inside. The Butcher wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 7:25 amDo they have a date when construction is expected to be complete?
