Anyone know when construction is slated to start on that? Or are we still waiting for the last bit of fundraising to come in for it to get a final date?

I’m personally excited to see our super rookie assistant coaching staff find their butts from holes in the ground.

No...the Griz are in a dominant spot to start 2024 play! That said, always got to watch out for a sneaky Cat!

I won the Schadenfreude fan title this year. The Bobcats and Ducks didn’t win titles, but the Gris and Huskies lost by 20 and 21, respectively, in their championship games on consecutive days. A oddly satisfying feeling if my teams couldn’t win it all.

1. Excited to see the new oc/dc and what wrinkles they bring to their side of the ball. Do they play complementary football and use each other to enhance each other to greatness.
2. Will QB1 stay healthy for the season
2b. Who is QB2 just in case QB1 does get gimpy and will QB2 have what we need to sustain our momentum.
3. This is a strong frosh class. Which ones standout and play early. Will these guys be able to be great supporting casts(or premier players) to fill holes/enhance their respective position groups. I think the next great bobcat is in this group.

Yeah, those are three hot topics going into spring ball. I think QB2 will be a good battle but I think Reed has a leg up on Wilson, Abshire and Duchein. Reed isn’t a prototype RPO but he is mobile and has proven he can do damage with his legs.BobcatBuiltTexan wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 11:00 am1. It’d be a huge development if there’s a couple freshmen that can get into the rotation. If MSU has or can bring in a LB that’s a step above the players it has there it will be a big difference.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: What are you excited to see in 2024?
I’m hoping Chance Wilson is ready to pass above average because I like the dual-threat QBs. However, if Reed shows in Spring and Fall camps to be pinpoint accurate and a much better thrower than the mobile QBs (and the pass pro is solid), I’d like to see how that looks with him as the back-up with a play-action passing from under center in his toolbox if Tommy misses a game or two again.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 11:59 amYeah, those are three hot topics going into spring ball. Christian Anaya getting touches. Hands like glue and a good route runner. Obviously a balanced attack where our skinny guys aren't just blocking all game.

One, just one hand rail from top to bottom for the East side fans. Someone’s gonna get hurt bad sooner or later. Had a couple close calls last year that I saw. Probably cost a couple grand, tops, probably less. Just say’n.

Excited to see an aggressive defense, one that dictates terms and sends consistent pressure and rallies to the ball. On offense I’m excited to see how we innovate through 11,12, and 13 personnel. You would think with the multitude of body types and Walker being the OC- we will scheme and utilize our tight ends as uniquely as we have with the two qb system, to which I think we’ll see in a lesser degree.

You realize its illegal to have more than 11 players right? I'M KIDDING. Ryan's dream formation is just 11 tight ends. No QB no WR's, just tight ends. His wife is starting to think he cheating on her with someone named Throw It To The Tight End because he talks about it in his sleep every night.Common Cat wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:46 amExcited to see an aggressive defense, one that dictates terms and sends consistent pressure and rallies to the ball. HA! It’s like you’re in my head…How about 14 personnel - no receivers, 4 tight ends. Let’s do it!Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:10 pmYou realize its illegal to have more than 11 players right? I'M KIDDING. Ryan's dream formation is just 11 tight ends. i love it. 9.3 yards per run with crack backs and blind side TE blocks. Linebackers ducking for cover and their head on perpetual swivel.Common Cat wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 5:34 pmHA!
