Re: Weekly Predictions Thread: CATS vs South Dakota
No disrespect, USD fans. Gonna take a shot at making a big leap in the standings here.
MSU: 31
USD: 10
This is a VERY important game for this team. Win it and it should give MSU momentum heading to Cheney. Also, if the Cats end up going 6-2 in conference (still very much possible), this win will make them eligible for the post season. No way this team puts up 3 stinker home games in a row.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Ugh, I have a hard time reading these Cats.
I'm guessing we don't lose two at home in a row... hoping is a better word maybe.

SAGRIN has:
MSU #132 57.90
SD #167 50.53
MSU +7.5
MSU +3.0 (homefield)
MSU +10.5
However South Dakota just lost to Davis by 1 in OT. Davis was the best team UM played so far. I think MSU will win at home... by 3

Re: Weekly Predictions Thread: CATS vs South Dakota
I've given my thoughts on this game over on the Coyote Message Board:
Last year USD was handled by MSU, this year, I'm not so sure what is going to happen. If USD comes out and plays intense and mistake free in all aspects of the game, I have no doubt they will win, even on the road. In fact, we may see something that resembles that Coyote destruction of SUU last year. If USD comes out and plays in a jekyll and hyde manner, good for a quarter, bad for a quarter, then I think it depends on which MSU team shows up.
http://coyotesports.proboards.com/index ... 656&page=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Feel free to come on over and join us in the discussion. As for the game, even though we're coming off a tough loss this team has finally realized they can play with and beat most teams in the FCS. They are starting to believe and that can be dangerous for our opponents.

Re: Weekly Predictions Thread: CATS vs South Dakota
Man they are making this tougher by the week.
Still not impressed with the offense, but NAU has a good offense and our D kept them to 23 with some help from special teams. If we cut down on mistakes I think we hold them down. Now , can we just score enough to win. sooner or later teams are going to start taking the field goals against us on 4th and goal, since we have stopped so many attempts.

Re: Weekly Predictions Thread: CATS vs South Dakota
Since we haven't played SDSU, the Cats haven't played Davis, and the Brawl is yet to be, how on Earth do you put together that logic? Interesting to see that many SDSU fans posting here predict the Cats will win. Still, I'm unhappily sticking with:Go Scats Go wrote:South Dakota just lost to Davis by 1 in OT. Having first predicted this weekend's Cat/SDSU game, "next week" obviously referred to the next week... when you play EWU!cats2506 wrote:Why do you even try, when you dont even know who we are playing.MaZooLaGriz wrote:Sorry to say that next week it'll be:

Re: Weekly Predictions Thread: CATS vs South Dakota
We are all familiar with the trials and tribulations of the antagonist Wile E Coyote (as someone previously posted his pic). He was silent for the first three years of his caroon life. Silent until Mel Blanc gave a limited voice to the Canis latrans in 1952. Much like the cartoon version, MSU will Blanc the USD version for the first three quarters on saturday.
