Ok, maybe I should clarify by what I mean when I say it's all that matters. In the large scope of the season, of course I am very disapointed with our record. However, when it comes to playing against the boobcats and our series with you, then yes it's all that matters.
Since we've moved up all I've heard from you people is that we don't belong in the conference, we're a JC in the words of eggcrap, etc. That's big talk for a school that is now 1-2 against "Junior College" When I hear stuff like that, all that DOES matter is our record against you. I don't think you realize that you lost to a team with a bunch of true freshmen and redshirt freshmen. 70% of our team is made of players younger then sophomores. We're going to be a force in this conference in the next few years. So in the context of MSU- UNC all that does matter is that we have beaten you more then you've beaten us since moving up.
I told you so!!!

Normally, I try to stay away from too much smack, but this has gotten absolutely ridiculous. Being 2-1 historically against a team is all that matters? Probably one of the most mentally stunted things I've ever read on this board.
I sure seem to remember that "2 out of 3" was a really, really big deal.

But we were also 2 out of 3 in going to the playoffs and 3 out of 3 in having winning records overall and in conference during that time. Pretty big diffence between the two situations, imho.GrizinWashington wrote:Normally, I try to stay away from too much smack, but this has gotten absolutely ridiculous. Sadly, yes and the outlook for improving that percentage this year is bleak.jagur1 wrote:Now your 2 out of 3 not going to the playoffs.kmax wrote:But we were also 2 out of 3 in going to the playoffs and 3 out of 3 in having winning records overall and in conference during that time. You're entitled to your opinion but I don't think we're that far. If these young players stay in the program, in a few years they'll be very good.jagur1 wrote:GoBears you may very well be a force against our little brothers in Bozeman in a few years. IMO you have a long way to go before threatening the real force in the Big Sky.
