If you're serious, you can put me down for any amount. :)

Lol......me too. Oh well. As a minn. Vikings fan I am used to perpetual underachievement. I'll sleep just fine.

Do you really believe they'll be better than 11-9 next year? What's your prediction for their record?

I think 8 wins is pushing it for next year. The collapse this year may carry over to next year!

Well based on the parameters of your bet they have to finish with either 9 or 10 wins for you to win. If they finish with 0-8 wins or 11-20 wins, you lose. Gotta like them odds!

Seriously, yes, I think they'll be 12-8 or better (I'll let you sneak in another win there  ) next year, but I wouldn't bet on it this early. If Blount makes it back, Biglow is set to play, and there are no major injuries/defections between now and next season we can do this.

i'd love to see that many wins tom. i just have no reason to believe it besides blind loyalty. just a few numbers over the years....

'97 - 10-6
'98 - 9-7
'99 - 9-7
'00 - 4-12
'01 - 8-8
'02 - 12-2 \:D/
'03 - 5-9
'04 - 6-8
'05 - 9-5
'06 - 7-7
'07 - 8-8
'08 - 7-9
'09 - 6-10
'10 - 10-6
'11 - 7-9
'12 - 7-9

in the last 16 seasons...we've hit 10 conference wins or more THREE times! and only once in the last 10 seasons. i just don't see anything that says next season will be different. unfortunately.....i'm an idiot. in a few months after i've cooled off i'll once again be thinking about cat hoops. i'll have football season to take my mind away for a little while, but by next fall i'll convince myself that THIS year could be the year that is different. THIS coule be the year where the team doesn't fade in the 2nd half of the year. THIS could be the year huse gets it going and we put a decent product on the floor. sadly.....i wouldn't bet money on this happening......

Well that bodes pretty well for Danny Sprinkle right there. All four years he was here (1996-1999) we had a winning record in the league. So in the last 17 seasons we've had just 7 winning seasons and he was here for four of them. We've had nine .500 or better seasons and he was here for five of those out of six years. The year after he graduated we had our worst season in the last 17 years (at least).

Yeah that's ugly. Careful, you're going to talk me out of this and piss John K off.

I guess I should have clarified that I meant 8-12 through 11-9 inclusive. Going forward, I will be more precise with my wording.
