If anything is certain about this game, it will be the fans of the losing team will come out and say that the others teams fans and players are classless and if it's a close game, the refs were at fault.
spot on
I thought the refs were very good in this game. I thought the penalties on us and them were all good calls. I was surprised the Griz first TD wasn't reviewed, but I saw a replay on Twitter and it was a TD. I think both teams had hits out of bounds that were a little late, and they let all of that go.

Spartan JJ Dolan broke his fibula in the first half and is why he also isn’t in this photo.

And I thought Egriz was a circle jerk! Holy ****** ****** guys take off the blue and gold colored glasses. The refs were being very generous to MSU as well. Taco’s “catch” hit the ground but was upheld and many obvious late hits and personal fouls went uncalled. The Griz made mistakes and let the game out of hand, it was anyone’s game no matter what you may think. Seriously though I have never seen such a circle jerk outside of BisonNation
Looks like a bar post. More than double penalties and yardage on Cats. Catch at least was reviewed and upheld. Name the late hits I don't remember any. Eiden PF was probably justified because he caught the helmet. But not any worse than Griz player holding Long's leg before end of half. Cat false start cost TD, Cats missed recovering fumble on 2nd half kickoff. Cats gave up 2 long returns leading to TD and momentum shift. All of this in your Mecca that may bounce the other way.
The smack talk is Cats kicked Griz ass. The bulk of the discussion is it was a great game that the Cats took control of in the 4th.

So many big plays in this game. Watched the last drive again this morning and Julius had some big time runs.
Frigin Crews getting some serious air on this play.

That’s tough for JJ. He was playing really well at safety and nickel. MSU is still good at safety but I’m not sure about nickel.

Crews reminds me of Ted Hendricks. The Mad Stork played for the Colts, Packers and Raiders.

I’m no expert but it didn’t look like a low kick. Sure seems like Hauk Tua is trying to spin it as a low kick as to not give credit to Crews…

Haha that was a great block! Tootel said it was like a volleyball spike, and that's pretty accurate.

Seeing the Sentinel boys play great...especially Crews was a highlight. The way he was treated over there...karma.

eGriz can't stop crying over a few MSU players gesturing to the crowd after the game. Priceless after all of the ****** their coaches, players, and fans have done over the years. Those glass houses were shattered to the ground decades ago.

I thought UM played a really smart, patient, disciplined game. They basically used the Mercyhurst approach. Those drives on both sides of the half were really good. They got a good return to start and then the Gillman run at the end. I thought MSU had them at 17-7 and 31-21 but they didn't panic.
MSU outscored UM 28-14 through the meat of the game. I'm thinking MSU had about 200 more yards during that stretch.

They dominated middle 8, bit Cats 2 play drive just prior and then the pick 6 countered that.

Cats did not want to get beat over the top, so they gave up those under routes.
Also, re-watching the 4th quarter, on Lamson’s TD run, he had Rocco wide open for a touchdown had he thrown the ball.
I was just hoping he would get a first down on the play. Also, if you watch the play, a frizz defender at around the seven yard line takes a horrible, horrible angle on his tackle. Looked like he had money on the 'Cats.

Probably should have reviewed that TD but D needs to wake up on these trick plays.
They absolutely should have reviewed it. Right as they went to commercial it sure looked like his heel landed out of bounds.
Doesn’t matter now but I would sure like to see a couple more angles of that play.
It looked like his toe tipped down first. I think it was the right call
Doesn't matter if the toe comes down first if the heel comes down out of bounds. As long as it is the same motion, the heel whole foot matters. Just like if on the other side, the heel comes down first and the toe comes down out of bounds, it is incomplete. Just odd it wasn't reviewed.
Don’t think his heal ever touched down. Hell of a catch.

Couldn’t tell in the couple quick replays they showed on tv. But it still should have been looked at.

I think he got a pep talk from @BobcatBuiltTexan
You're welcome... lolol
