I can't think of any good reason a journalist would NOT ask about the extensions and raises.

There is no adjudication ongoing about those. Correct?
Breaking news: Successful coaches get performance-based contract extensions with raises!

Google is really not that hard man:

Find another coach in the nation that received an extension while involved in an ongoing criminal case. That's a variance from the norm...and worthy of questions from a curious media - if there is such a thing any more.

BTW - if performance based- Garza deserved zip, nada, nothin regardless of his 3rd dui.
One should also realize that in the FCS, or at least with the Montana schools, assistants don’t get more than a one year contract. That’s not typical at the FBS level. Semantics, but it was more a renewal of contract than an extension. To me, there is a difference.
Sure - the renewal extended his employment with a new one-year contract. Again - find another coach who had their employment extended with a new contract while involved in an ongoing criminal case.

You have about 20 posts with about 16 of them dedicated to this one topic. You seem to have an agenda here. MSU has said that they comment on ongoing personnel issues. Until there is a new developer, asking Vigen or the admin will yield nothing more except to keep the issue fresh (like a Gris fan would want).

There isn't any stalking/review required to have a complete handle on your posting motivation. Even my 87 year old neighbor with severe dementia remembers and has you figured out totally. Funny you should use the word creepy, because when I met the old guy at the mail boxes today he said, "I see that creepy justwin guy is posting again" He gave a nice  too

I love it when people call it stalking when you look at their previous posts. Don’t post on a public forum if you don’t want someone to revisit something you posted.

How dare you look at stuff I’ve posted before.

I have no agenda.

This forum is a very strange place. I got my graduate degree at The Ohio State University. While that place can get crazy at times...this place is more so.

Stalkers, old men with emojis, and defenders of stalkers. Wierd way to treat a grad and fan. Am I being hazed? Serious question.

From Merriam Webster dictionary:

“an underlying often ideological plan or program - example: having a political agenda”

You must be from UM. MSU does a better job educating our students.

And seriously man, you click on you username and it provides general information. You currently have 24 posts in total joining in June, 2023. 20 of your posts have been on this subject. All of those posts have been critical of MSU. Multiple people have you given very level headed reasoning - including the fact that MSU doesn’t comment on personnel issues. Yet you continue to attack the program and now the press. Like I said earlier, your agenda is pretty clear. And it very much resembles what a douchey Gris fan would post.

All fans are welcome to share their thoughts on the Bobcats. Ideally they don't focus essentially all their energy on controversy surrounding the coaching staff though. Single issue posters, especially those that only post about a negative topic, raise suspicion for good reason. If you really want to litigate the issue, and don't care about the on-field product, I hear there's another fan forum in the state that has a much more active discussion and would be more than happy to hear your input.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Let me put it this way. Why the man-crush support for Garza on here? Dude doesn't coordinate an elite defense, and that likely continues this season.

If there is anything holding the Cats back it has been and is the defense. Seems the Head Ball Coach missed an opportunity to cut him loose, and upgrade. Does the Head Coach not have coach hiring and firing authority? Serious question.

Instead...renewal of contract. That's odd no matter how it's spun by some posting here.

Here's the most obvious example yet that you're a Griz fan. Many people here wanted Garza gone due to the defense's shaky performance last year well before the DUI incident. Not a single person here would have complained if Garza's contract had not been renewed over the summer.

It's time to drop the act. I respect Griz fans who come here and want to discuss stuff like this in an up-front and respectful manner. Your fake Bobcat fan BS, that I have zero respect or patience for.

You bring up a great point. The defense wasn’t very good last season. A lot of MSU fans were getting agitated about Garza. I don’t think anyone would have been surprised and not many would have been upset if he were fired/not renewed due to a lack of performance. If MSU’s defense had been outstanding and everyone liked him, then I could understand the controversy coming from opposing fans. I would think they would be glad Garza is still at MSU.

It's official now. Not bringing up Garza, but using Head Ball Coach and Head Coach instead of spelling out Vigen's name. He's still in shock over last year's beatdown that he can't even say his name. Time to move on and not respond to his posts any more.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!
