Did anyone catch the backhanded "compliment" Bobby gave the Cats at the beginning of his post-game presser?

"I think he (Vigen) and the coaching staff here got the absolute most out of the talent they have on that football team. I'm impressed with the coaching job they did."

Such a Bobby thing to do...taking a swipe at the talent level of the team that just beat them. That is going to go over well with future in-state recruits. Smh.

I listened to it last night and it made me laugh. He never said the words Bobcats or MSU though. Just complimented Vigen and the staff on really coaching up what is evidently a team of average players.

Our average players from Montana made virtually EVERY Meaningful play in this game (Lamson excluded) We were better at every position yesterday and if I was a Montana recruit watching both press conferences, there’s no way I would consider UM. Not one reason. We have the advantage right now in every way;.

I heard him say that and thought that he is either “tone deaf” or, just an “angry man who never graduated to adult behavior”! He says that and every kid in Montana is going to know that he simply wants to get the shiny newest uber player from someplace other than Montana. But, he doesn’t care. Recruiting is his Achilles heel, and he’s never going to fix it because he can’t with that attitude!

I think Bobby retires before next season. I cannot imagine him coming back to,Bozeman and Bobcat stadium again next year. He hates it with every bone in his body. He despises it with his soul, and continually gets humiliated there. Why would he put himself through that again?

There is an account on YouTube, Wally The Bronco, who typically uploads all the FCS games within a day or so. I rewatch a lot of MSU games that way.

So if you’ve never toured the BAC the media room where they do post game press interviews is on the second floor sorta above the locker room. I’m guessing the Cats did their interviews first, than the gris did theirs. So as Bobby is talking if you listen close you can hear them doing Stand Up and Cheer below. . Bobby has to listen to the victory celebration while discussing his loss.

Yeah, I'm not sure what he's talking about. It was actually the 1st and 4th quarters that we dominated. It was 7-7 in the 3rd, 21-0 in the 4th.

The "stanzas" were the first, second, and third 20 minutes.

Wowza. I know he knows a ton about football. But, that comment makes me think he didn’t watch a single snap of Bobcat football.
