Ok thanks. But, Tomcat said the media wouldn't cover it. He said it was not high profile enough. I was just curious.
How special is it that a Gris fan created an account just to post in this thread? MSU is on his head. A beat down like last year as UM flounders as a program and university stirs up unfamiliar feels for these guys.
Wrong guy Papa G. I have no love for the school to the west. I came here for info only.
life long fan and just joined and happen to come to this thread for your first post.....yea sure I believe you.....
Strange that you would disparage a Cat alum...I am new to these fan boards. Looking forward to getting some tix to Frisco.
Hilarious yet sad that a Gris fan has to pretend. I’m guessing it’s “Raider” from egris based on the moniker.
Who in the heck is Raider? Too bad he is a gris fan. Anyway, any updates on trial dates or how they might impact Fall camp? Think the HC has some names on speed dial in case things go bad for the coaches involved?
I heard the back up plan is to reshuffle the staff leaving an opening for special teams coach. I guess Bobby Hauck has put in his name for the special team position.
What the friggin what? Ha ha.
I am just fuc4ing with you. Kind of like you making your first posts at this website all highlighting the most controversial subject in the program right now. And your posts seem like you are trying stir the pot…. Sorry, but I am with others thinking you are probably Gris troll.
Well, many Cat fans have certainly asked questions about the topic and posted on this thread. Is there a secret handshake required to be a genuine Cat fan? I am a 2020 grad - been off the grid for a couple of years. Want to get caught up. That's it. Seems to be a bunch of excitement about this year's team and the elephant in the room is both coordinators getting DUIs. I don't think I am trolling by asking questions about that. What am I missing?

If you are a real Cat fan, welcome to the board. I am not the only one that questioned your authenticity so only time will tell. We have had plenty of Gris trolls that come here to post under different names for some unknown reason. They apparently don’t have anything better to do with their time. In my opinion, they epitomize the worst of that fan base. Stange enough to manufacture a user name and try to get Cat fans to trip up somehow in their responses to get a “gotcha”. Throw them in the same crazy group of fans like Hooked, Scats, Raider, Alpha and PlayerRep. I don’t get it. Given that you are a Cat fan and grad, I am sure you agree that those are some real classless fans.

Lots of thin skinned posters on football forums who live and breathe arm chair fanaticism. My impression is they project themselves onto the field having never been good enough in reality. Why get into the back and forth petty insults with posters at all? I just follow TomCat88 and Vim among others and do my best to scroll through the nonsense and search for good content. With the exception of this post I guess....

Here's a tip to all legitimate newcomers: Participate in more than one thread. Especially if the one thread you are posting in is the most controversial in a long time. It can be suspicious to many people here than are wary of trolls. If you act like an actual Bobcat fan people will treat you like one.

This is a good point. I've read almost all of the threads, but just don't have a ton to offer yet. The Shrine Game thread was very interesting to me...seems many future Cats played well.

I’m really curious about this. There are reports he got an extension, but on the social media front, all is quiet in regards to him. He’s been practically non-existent on Twitter for a month. Recruits that are going to camps aren’t tagging him like they are the other coaches. Maybe I’m reading far too much into this, but it seems really odd to me.

House signed an extension before the DUI. They might have suspended him from summer activities/recruiting?
Garza has a hearing this week. My opinion is that Mack has followed all requirements set(stayed sober, etc.) to get the extension. He could also get fired on Thursday.
My other guess is that Daly and Udy are fully prepared for promotions.

House was seen coaching QBs in a recent camp post from a prospect. But again timing of everything has everyone confused. Eventually a season will happen and we'll know more...maybe.

Per Victor Flores, Garza's court appearance has been delayed until August 16. Timing here seems less than ideal to have no resolution of the case before Fall Camp begins.

Per the last post here, Garza's court appearance was supposed to be 8/16 and an article from Housewright's initial appearance said his next court date was scheduled for 8/9. Does anyone know if these took place or if they were delayed?

I think Garza's got extended into September. Unsure about Housewrights. However, if you go over to EGriz they should have the most up-to-date details on our convict coordinators.

Well mostly this was meant to be a joke since its been nothing but seriousness and scrutiny for about 9 months since Garza got his DUI. Is the seriousness and scrutiny warranted? Absolutely especially since the individuals involved should be holding themselves to a higher standard. Everyone makes mistakes...I understand that. I've already voiced my displeasure that Garza is still on this staff as this was his 3rd DUI and...someone correct me if I'm wrong...would mean jail time if convicted. NOT GREAT! My opinion is he should be focused on getting help instead of coaching football at a college level. I understand innocent until proven guilty but I've seen too many adults and friends in my life hurt themselves over and over again because they get one too many chances at making the same mistake without a greater amount of accountability.

As for Housewright, the entire situation reeks of a young coach who made an error in judgement and tried to do damage control. I've heard many different stories on what happened that night but I could see him still coaching after the dust settles. Its a shame he was in the situation in the first place.

The WE WANT ANSWERS crowd (mostly made up of dedicated Griz faithful) can follow a dedicated team of local media reporters giving them answers for months now as basically we've just been following court dates. Reading between the lines it also appears MSU can't just fire these men until proven guilty. Not quite sure what else there is to say at this point. I'm personally ready to move on whether its with or without either of them.

Spot on couldn’t =D^ have said it better myself.. Thank you!
Well stated Vim. Your thoughts and mine align quite closely on the matter.

If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!
