Thanks for all who jumped on this and are helping to make this special for our fans and the Furman team and fans. I hope next year with this new Marketing firm on board at MSU that we can make every home game a special day in Bozeman. I hope they get together with the Downtown Business Association and the Chamber and Alumni Assoc. to really go all out in having the blue and gold everywhere. We want to attract more out of town Cat fans and visitng team fans. I think we need to get to the point where we WOW out of town fans and visitng team fans with our hospitality and spirit. I envision a place where these fans go back home and say to their freinds and nieighbors that the next time there is a game in Bozeman you need to go there!
We need a sea of blue and gold around town the whole season like you see in maroon and silver when you go to Missoula. What it means is more fans-both Cat Fans and visiting team fans in town. These people spend a lot of money in local businesses and in ticket sales. Also, it means more potential donors. If we are going to expand our stadium and facilities we need all the support we can get!
I worked in Marketing for over 30 years and I can see we have a tremendous amount of opportunity to raise the bar dramatically in this area. We have established a winning program that is now in a top level nationally. Now, we need to compliment it wih making it a top level expereince for our fans and the vsiting team fans.

Before we get off on too big of a tangent, I am pretty sure this is a volunteer thing of an off duty officer and isn't costing anyone any money. If I remember right, it is essentially viewed as a reward to be able to do this.bobcatmaniac wrote:That is such a waste of money. I sure hope he personally is paying for that service. He must think he deserves secret service or something. He looks like a fool.bobcatbob wrote:They escort Bobby Hauck. This seems more relevant!
