Yeah, agreed. Some additional information here on what you are using and such could be helpful as this is not a normal experience and definitely unrelated to the issues that were being originally addressed here in this thread. Again, unless others have seen this type of behavior, it feels like this is something related to your setup. Have you blocked the site from allowing stored cookies by chance? These are required to allow you to remain logged in to the site.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 10:40 amDevice?BobcatDel wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 12:35 amI log in. There is nothing going on here with the issues that the board has seen recently that in any way would cause you to be logged out of the site. The site can get overloaded and shuts down when that happens but that in no way will affect your logged in status.
Has anyone else experienced this type of issue?
Even to respond to you particular question, I tried to respond but found I was logged out again. So I logged in again and hopefully will stay long enough to submit this comment.

I have not “intentionally” blocked the site from allowing stored cookies. I wouldn’t call me savy on some of this stuff so tell me how to check if I’ve blocked the cookies and clear it.

First, don't use a private browser, as it will ALWAYS dump your cookies after every session. If it's supported by IOS, I HIGHLY recommend DuckDuckGo. It's a pop-up blocking NINJA of a browser and my recollection is that developers said they specifically do not track you, so no need to worry about using a private browser.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 10:08 pmiPhonekmax wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 10:54 amYeah, agreed. That said I run DDG on an Android phone for browsing BN, so no idea if it would work with IOS.
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Yep, what grizh8r said (and thanks). If you are running in a private mode browser (regardless of what browser it is) then you will see this sort of problem. The whole point of a private mode browser is to not store your information like cookies when visiting sites.
As for DuckDuckGo, yes it is absolutely available on iOS and works well if you are looking for other browsers. I also use Vivaldi across different platforms and works well also in the same way.

I downloaded the DDG app on my phone this morning. I logged into BN using the app. I spent 15-20 min this morning bouncing around the site without getting bumped off once. I’m quietly optimistic my problem is solved. Will let you know if it continues to function properly.kmax wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 11:03 amYep, what grizh8r said (and thanks). Many thanks to grizh8er and yourself for the tip.
But I am still at a loss of what changed because I have only been experiencing this in last couple months. All I can think of was a change in settings when I updated software and perhaps hit a wrong button. Like I said I am not a tech guru.

It is very possible that iOS updated the security of Safari, particularly in private mode that made the problem more apparent/happen more quickly. I know at work we have seen a number of the recent changes to Safari security and privacy do some interesting things.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 1:48 pmI downloaded the DDG app on my phone this morning.
