Starch Madness aside, I wasn’t a believer in Boise for the BSC Tourney until I attended last season. It’s a really good time and fun atmosphere. Crowds were better than I thought from watching the last few years on TV.

I’m already looking forward to this coming March in downtown Boise.
Yep, I've only made it down there once but it was a fantastic time...and it didn't hurt that it was also the year that MSU won both the men's and women's tournament championship! It's the perfect location because fans from most schools can travel there in one day by car, and unlike when the tournament was in Reno it's clear that the city of Boise actually wants the tournament there and heavily promotes it to locals as well as to out-of-town fans.

Agreed. I've made it 4 of last 5 years and both my wife and I have enjoyed. It's been fun to see the Bobcat fans outnumber all of the other teams in attendance. Of course it helps when you have had a great program and winning teams to support.

I can just envision SACCAT nervously refreshing the MSU online roster to check if Brooke is going to have a much more difficult name to pronounce next year.

Congrats to Brooke and great to see pretty much the whole team out there supporting her! Also good to see Dylan wearing cowboy boots instead of the type she had on a few months ago.
At the wedding, during her dads speech, he said "And this is how you say the last name". Then pointed at me... Everyone laughed. ( It's Fa-2-Pie-Toe ). We will set the Over-Under of me saying Berry on accident at 3.5.
That says alot about you Ian that you'd be invited to something as intimate as a wedding. They team must feel pretty close to you.

Now you just need to convince that Laird girl to join the Bobcats. I understand she is pretty good.

My understanding is that Drea Brumfield took medical retirement because of her back, but she is listed on the roster as an active player. Does anyone have any information about her status?

My understanding was that she's taking on a similar role to what Lindsey Hein did last year in terms of being somewhat of a student manager. I think it's awesome they still list her on the roster along as I'm sure everyone still considers her to be part of the team!

Some grapevine stuff. I heard from a friend that golfed with Coach Bin that the 'Cats consider Madison O'Connor a better volleyball player than hoops player. Apparently Bin said volleyball coach Houk is badgering her constantly about letting Madison play v-ball.
