Ifanse playing with Troy at QB 1 season and Tommy for 2 really hurts his touchdown totals.

Re: 2021 Bobcat Record Watch
Man. It's crazy to me that McGhee only won 2 playoff games in his career with some of the teams we had back then. But it always seemed like the Cats were sliding backward into the playoffs in those years.
Some people are a lot like slinkies....... Not really good for much, but it puts a smile on your face to watch them fall down a set of stairs.

Yep. I don't want to make this about Coach Ash because I thought he did a nice job, but it became apparent that these teams were always getting worse by November and limping into the playoffs. As my friend Rikard from Finland used to say, all Swedish no Finnish.

Pretty cool if we could see the most individual rushing yards in a season, and the most individual receiving yards in a season... on the same team. Getting close.

Re: 2021 Bobcat Record Watch
That’s partly why I put this out there. That, and the fact that two Butte QBs have five of the 15 playoff wins in MSU’s history. They’re 5-0.RockyBearCat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 1:42 pmTommy could be scary high in 3 more years.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 10:03 amSo McGhee is the only QB to win a playoff game in two different seasons?TomCat88 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 11:33 pmIndividual- QB Playoff Wins, Season

The craziest thing about this- looking at the career list, 3 of those players are still active on the same team.... how bizarre is that!!!

Do we have stats on playoff rushing yards, rushing TDs and passing TDs? Tommy has to be at or near the top of all three for a single season and career.

Re: 2021 Bobcat Record Watch
Daniel Hardy has been spectacular this year.
I am sure there is a very good reason but, for the life of my I wish he lined up on the QB's blindside.
He has missed some sacks because the right-handed quarterbacks have seen him coming and made adjustment.....ran like hell. Had they not seen him coming, he probably would have had those sacks....
On the other hand, most teams put their best tackles on the offensive left side of the line so, maybe he wouldn't have been in position to make so many sacks if he lined up on the other side.....assuming that those team's right tackles are the weaker pass blockers of the two.
Just me thinking out loud.

I think it's related to the scheme. In this defense, sacks are great but getting pressure quickly is key to everything. As such, it's much more valuable to have the QB see pressure and be forced into a quick decision.vike_king wrote: ↑Mon Dec 20, 2021 1:53 pmDaniel Hardy has been spectacular this year.

I encourage everyone to relook at page 1 of this thread. It is incredible to see all the categories with a 2021 at the end of the line in positions 1 or 2. Especially after the championship. This is pretty cool.
