Re: Nashville tickets
Without knowing the real answer, it’s an NCAA event and they can screw up anything. Complete incompetence starting at the top.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

Yeah, I'm planning on waiting a couple days to see how many more are out there. I can't imagine that ISU will fill their side either.

The bummer is that those of us who applied through MSU won’t be advised until week of the 29th our seats and sections. Seems like it should happen faster than that…like Monday (tomorrow) so it would at least help out folks buying online now.

Re: Nashville tickets
Some comparisons I did of venues and attendance a month or so back. Numbers approximate cause I’m too lazy to redo.
Frisco capacity..around 20,000.
Biggest attendance in last 10 years at FCS chipper 21,000. (Probably capacity limited)
Average attendance post Covid year is just a bit north of 19,000.
Vanderbilt Stadium capacity 41,500.
My own internal thinking was that I’m not going to have a problem getting a ticket someplace….just need to know where to buy!

As always, patience will be a virtue here. Especially with NDSU not going and all those fans wanting to offload their tickets.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 11:12 amSome comparisons I did of venues and attendance a month or so back. Numbers approximate cause I’m too lazy to redo.

Before I pull the trigger on tickets, is it 100% confirmed that we are on the visitors side of the stadium?

Re: Nashville tickets
This a question that I have as well. Ticketmaster says Home team on "D" sideline but the FCS email says Home (Cats) is on the "S" sideline. Do we trust the FCS site? Help!BlueNGoldTilIDie wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:51 amOn the ncaa site it says that our bench is on the visitor section. Says we are section s side. So everyone maybe just confirm they bought on the correct side!

Re: Nashville tickets
Last year I bought tickets on Stubhub about a week before the game. I think they were around $180 each. They were supposed to be delivered on game day. By the time I had pregamed for a few hours and was in the long line to get into the stadium, my tickets still hadn't arrived so I had my wife look online again (my eyes weren't working the best by that time;-). She found some for $70. As others have mentioned on here, this stadium holds a lot more fans and NDSU won't be there. I have a feeling good tickets can be had right up until game time. Of course, it depends on where you want to sit but I expect tickets to be cheaper than last year and anyone who wants to get into the game shouldn't have a problem.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 11:12 amSome comparisons I did of venues and attendance a month or so back. Id assume we'd be on the Vanderbilt side but confirmation would be appreciated.KIX wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 12:12 pmThis a question that I have as well. Maybe they want a crowd opposite the main cameras

I find it hard to believe that they have sold every ticket in the main sections ( not in the corners). I’m kind of thinking, hoping, that they are holding these till they sell the corner ones and then will release more.

Isn’t it crazy how they could move things faster than the old days with actual paper tickets! Re: Nashville tickets
Could those be tickets that are held back to allocate to each school? If so MSU has already sold out of their full allotment. I don't see any reason to intentionally hold back better tickets until the less expensive ones are sold.

Re: Nashville tickets
Maybe it was already mentioned on here, but does anybody know how many tickets MSU was allotted?
I have mine months ago in section S

Re: Nashville tickets
If you are a season ticket holder you got an email about a week ago where you could request tickets. I requested four. I will know on 12/29 if I got any. I believe they are charging me $165/ea. Given the size of the Nashville stadium (44K I believe), I expect to easily get mine. If you are not a season ticket holder, call 406-994-CATS and they will tell you when you can buy and how if you are not a season ticket holder. As others have mentioned, the stadium is twice the size of Frisco so tickets will not be a problem. Judging from the attendance at the Ill St-Villanova game I would be surprised if we see more than around 5,000 Redbird fans.
As others have mentioned, seats are also available on resale sights (Seat Geek, etc.). Don't overpay. Even at Frisco, the prices on resale sights plummeted the day or two before the game. If you show up in Nashville without a ticket, don't worry, there is zero chance the stadium will sell out.
