Taylee's set shot and her motor got her the 1st triple double of her career in last Saturday night against N Dakota - 17 pts, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. With about a minute left in the game, Binford was made aware that Taylee needed one more rebound for the trifecta. She subbed her back in and it only took Taylee 12 seconds to get that rebound.

Awesome. I remember Stu Starner talking about rebounding range, basically a circle of varying size for each player. Taylee’s must be huge. Somewhat less than 94 feet, by rule.

How many triple-doubles belong to MSU Bobcats women’s basketball players? I’ve only followed them closely since 1993 and my leaky-sieve memory doesn’t remember any.

The MSU press release said the last triple double was in 2004. The interesting thing is that she has the athletic ability to record a quad double someday….points, rebounds, assists, and steals. Likelihood is probably low but she is an athlete!!!

Her shooting percentages have improved a lot over last season. I don’t know if she changed her technique but something happened there. Her shooting was the only thing keeping her from being a UCONN-type player.
