F that! When it comes to the griz I am a very sore loser and a very sore winner. I hate the team, the town, their fans and the school! When they come to Bozeman I am in full attack mode the whole game! I had one couple sat next to me and lasted one play. Last year a young griz fan sat next to me and was gone by halftime!
Gary, those aren’t things to be proud of.

Good for you Gary. I saw a generation of wall mart griz fans with no humility dish nothing but ****** for years. The fan base over there deserves some humble pie and then some.
Not sure sinking to that level is the answer.

You, and he, can do whatever you want. The tides always turn in these rivalries, and I’ll choose to be a bigger man. Also, it really is just a game. One of my best friends is a Griz fan. Doesn’t mean we can’t have a pleasant conversation about football. Taking a bitter and vindictive approach is unhelpful, I find.

Most all of us have had a comment at one time or another about an opposing team, especially one over the hill. More so we’ve had comments about their fans or at least I know I have. Going forward I hope I choose humility, but still have confidence in my Montana State Bobcats.

I sat in the north end zone dead center about eight rows from the top on Saturday and was surrounded by some pretty good fans. The amazing thing was after the game. I still ran into real knot heads that felt cheated after watching their team Play the best game of the year in front of their record setting crowd and yet lost. they came across as feeling cheated and angry.

Got to admit, I felt sorry for them. But had great conversations with other opposing fans on my way out.
Go Bobcats. Stay humble, work hard, take nothing for granted and play to the best your abilities, which I think will carry you the whole way to the end of the year
I was also in the north end zone, but on the east side near the top. I had a great time interacting with fans, and thought the big majority were fun to be around. One guy, that was trading jabs with me over the refs, came over and congratulated me after the game. a woman sitting right in front of us gave my son and I hugs after the game and said she’d see us in Bozeman. I told her where our seats were so she could come and say “hi”. There were a couple (out of about 20) that were whining and complaining about the “phantom hold on Eiden/Shafer” and the pick 6 just being a lucky play. He thought they would definitely win in Bozeman with better refs. I actually thought he might start crying, or punch me if I said anything. So I didn’t.

I also saw some Griz fans yelling at the players as they were carrying the trophy to the bus. A few Cat fans were there and started cheering. I didn’t think that was cool.

The best part was Dowler’s pick. I called it about 30 seconds before it happened. And I was screaming “Touchdown! Touchdown!” from the time Caden reached the 20.

Yea you can do your thing and I'll do mine. I have tons of family and friends on both sides. You are right that things tend to even out over the years and I'm here to remind the people that have dished the sh*t sandwiches over the years that it's their turn to take a bite. Go put your Walmart griz sweatshirt on if you don't like it.
Remind us again how noble you are.

I watched the Nuanez/Schmidt video, and Schmidt was spot-on. Unfortunately for the Griz, the problems won't end until Bobby retires. Bobby's hatred for the Cats blinds him to the reality that U of M is no longer the flagship university. They are desperately hanging on to the past, while MSU is on an upward trajectory that will continue for years to come. Go CATS Go!

Problems? They are 11-1 and the #3 seed and ery nearly beat us.

10-1, Central Washington doesn't count. And they weren't ever close to beating us. They never had the ball in scoring position with a chance to go ahead in the 4th quarter.

If Vigen hadn't called a kneel down, it would have been a 10 point game.

I’ll say this then leave it alone, cuz this doesn’t seem to be a productive conversation. Sports is a small part of life. I’m a very passionate Bobcat fan, but I also know that in the grand scheme of things, being a Griz fan vs a Bobcat fan doesn’t mean much. I’ll treat Griz fans how I want to be treated after a loss, even if they don’t reciprocate. A coach of mine employed the phrase, lose with dignity, win with grace. I hope the majority of Cat fans feel as I do, even if you don’t.

The overwhelming majority of gris fans I've met or know in person are good folks. There is obviously the occasional knucklehead; every fanbase has them. Thay said, i still wanna beat them by 40 every time we play and i also pray to the great bobcat in the sky that "EverettGriz" on egriz, in the very near future, has to endure a very public display of explosive diarrhea.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!

well.......we gonna pitch it!
