I didn't care for the snake much while it was happening because it's a distraction from the game, but it was pretty funny in hindsight. Yes, I participated by adding some cups and moving the snake through the stands. Oh, and I know there were some recruits in the stands during the game and if they didn't feel the frigin electricity and fun atmosphere, then they are dead inside.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Good: Caden Dowler two INTs and a TD. Vigen ripping the officials ten times more than any other game ever.

Bad: Not running the ball down UCD's throat. Too much room for Pinnick to scramble. Also Caden Dowler 2 blown coverages for TDs.

Ugly: Another missed FG with a bad snap. BSC officials everywhere. The Sac State crew called a completed pass on a play where the WR landed 2 feet OB and upheld the call after review.
UC Davis first touchdown was on Bryce Grebe to my eyes.
It could have been, but Caden bit hard on the play action and that pass went right over the top of him.
Just listening to the radio replay. Leo Davis said it was between over Grebe and in front of Dowler. Maybe it was just a good play by UC Davis?

The cup snake situation in the student section was even funnier. Cops/security came to take them away, got boo'd by students, and then the students passed the snake across the student section away from the cops

Good: Beating a really good team in UC Davis. I know they have had a lot of injuries but they just went into Moscow and won easily. They were up 28-7 and gave up a 4th quarter TD. I expect UCD to make the playoffs and win their first game. In a perfect world they would play a 7-8 in the second round and if they do, I'd expect them to win and get to the quarterfinals.

Special teams coverage units have been really good all year and one of the big plays in the game was the Dethman tackle to start the second half.

Not letting Gbatu, Jr. get going. He had a season-high catches but very little YAC.

Adjusting to Pinnick's running. He was only getting about 5 true carries per game, I think he had 15 vs MSU. UCD showed MSU's defense a lot of respect doing that. They knew they weren't going to get much from the RBs or WRs, so Pinnick had to do something in the run game. He did but it didn't loosen much up in MSU's defense.

Caden Dowler probably locked up BSC DPOY.

MSU 7.5 yards per play, UCD 5.1 (they came in averaging 7.0/5.8, now 6.7/5.9). MSU got 1.7 more than UCD was allowing; UCD got 1.9 less than it was getting.

Bad: Misplay on opening kickoff. Kind of a fluke but still.

Ugly: Yeah, the officiating was bad.

I liked seeing Pinnick get smoked on Dowlers pick 6!

Alec blocked him, Tayden ‘FINISHED HIM’. Tayden was fun to watch on that play, he’d place a block, run ahead, place a block, he loves to hit.

Dethman has been working at safety. That's a scary thought for WRs. He's around 6-4, 220 right now and he has good speed.
