UNC pretty sneaky too

How’s the game day atmosphere and tailgating scene? Thinking of making the trek for my 3YO first Bobcat game.

Pretty non-existent on both counts, but it's still worth going to cheer on the Bobcats to another win!

The Alumni Association has a big tailgate tent behind the visitor side of the stadium and the regular tailgating is in the north parking lot. We take up more than the visitor seating and usually spill over into the student section. This is another stadium where the band sits right behind the visiting team so we all have to put up with them.

It's been a few years, but when we were there the band was pretty fun. The Bobcats were way ahead so that helped I suppose. The band had been working all day and all they got from UNCU was some pathetic snacks. One Bobcat fan (I forget who) ordered them a bunch of pizzas. He was a real hero to them.

There are some tailgaters. I know we got free beer and sodas and UNC stuff (didn't take that) at one area that was set up with barstools and tables. They even had free snacks. Great folks.

From here on out with only 4 games left, are there any true Freshman that will start getting some playing time? I’d love to see Breslin get some reps. Sounds like he may be a bruiser!

Coach Vigen indicated UNC is more of a threat with their passing game than Cal Poly and they should have won the Colorado State game. This is not your daddy’s UNC.

Do you mean true freshman that haven’t already seen playing time? There have been a few true freshman that have already played in multiple games. Other than the freshman specialists, Xavier Ahrens and Tim Thomas have probably led the way in number of games played. I’m pretty sure Ahrens isn’t being red shirted this season.

Do you mean true freshman that haven’t already seen playing time? There have been a few true freshman that have already played in multiple games. Other than the freshman specialists, Xavier Ahrens and Tim Thomas have probably led the way in number of games played. I’m pretty sure Ahrens isn’t being red shirted this season.

Neither Ahrens or Thomas will be redshirting.

Weber is probably the only game remaining that I would expect any young players to get any playtime. UNC is a solid team, should have beaten Sac.

Yea, mostly just thinking about the Weber game. If we get ahead of them, if we will see any other True Freshman get some time in that we haven’t seen yet.
