Re: Boom
Just noticed that Braden Zimmer reposted the Vigen announcement, so it could be him.

Maybe Vigen is only ‘liking’ BSU recruits?!?AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 11:08 amI’ve checked and double checked every known player that has been offered. There are a couple of guys that I’m pretty sure will commit to the Cats but they haven’t posted anything.
I’m starting to think it is Luven Valcins that committed though. No coaches have liked a commitment notification on Twitter, like they usually do. Luven has liked numerous Bobcat tweets in the past few weeks and said he was going to announce his commitment yesterday, but hasn’t posted anything yet. He also made a recent visit to MSU. Not sure why he is holding off, maybe he is just busy with the holiday. Obviously, Luven has two FBS offers that we know of to Washington State and Utah State. I think it would be hard for him to turn down Washington State since he is from Washington, but it may be a PWO offer and not a scholly. There is also the possibility that since Washington State is in kind of a mess (financial issues and realignment issues) right now, he might not want to go there.

I'm always a bit baffled that WRs ever come here. And yet, every year, some of them do. Including some very talented ones!ThoughtUKnew14 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 6:19 pmI have. However, kids don’t pick a place solely on location or wins/loses. For instance Utah State has passed for 3,000 yards compared to our 1,900 yards. Now if your a WR, where would prefer to play? Not to mention playing at the FBS level in the Mountain West. Regardless of your thoughts on the MW, truth is way more kids go to NFL out of MW than the Big Sky…iaafan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 5:41 pmNo way? I did see this young man is committing tomorrow and MSU is on his short list but I’d be surprised if the Cats beat out two FBS programs, unless those offers are PWOs.

Re: Boom
I hear you and understand why. But there’s been 3 WR’s in recent history that have spent at least camp time with NFL teams (McCutcheon, Kassis, Jonsen). That’s definitely a sales point.BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2023 2:58 pmI'm always a bit baffled that WRs ever come here. And yet, every year, some of them do. Camp time and at least a practice squad. Kassis didn't last long on the PS, but he still made it.tdub wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2023 4:21 pmI hear you and understand why. Re: Boom
I've been checking his twitter feed every hour or so and nothing. Maybe, he has been watching the Apple Cup. Great game.
Other possibility is Zimmer. He reposted Vigens tweet but hasn't made an announcement either. There is also a possibility the player doesn't do social media.

Re: Boom
I like it! I know rating don’t mean everything, but great composite score, I also like how he runs, has a long powerful stride, keeps legs moving after contact and, if true, standing at 5’11”, he could be a beast.

No evidence but I feel like they will utilize him to play Safety.

I’m thinking running back. Just a quick google search on this kid. Found another Twitter page on him. He had some big time offers when he was younger. I found this article on him.

Oh for sure. Sorry, I wasn’t suggesting that you should. Just my little “prediction”.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 9:05 pmYup, but I’m not going to change them. Re: Unterrio Latin-Henley commits.
At one time he did, but that was a while ago. If you read that newspaper article I posted a link to, he dropped out of high school for a while. I bet some of those offers fell off.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 9:19 pmAccording to Flores he had offers from Washington, Oregon, and Arizona.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 8:52 pmI’m thinking running back.
