I am traveling and unable to watch the games but is Beattie worthy of a Big Sky Player of the week nomination…just based on Box Scores…. From those that watched.

Shoots 9 of 14 (64%) from arc, perfect from free throw line 8 of 8, 11 rebounds across two games, 37 points, ZERO turnovers, throw in a few assists and steals. Seems like a pretty good performance for the weekend…a full load anyway.

Most definitely yes. Leia Buckets was on fire! It'll probably go to Fatkin from the lady griz for her big game against Idaho State.

Yes! At least she better be nominated. I looked into the analytics this morning. She is frequently our most effective player, often leads the +/-. Those analytics show her to be an awfully good defensive player as well. If coming off the “bench” is elevating her game, so be it. The “bench” outscored the starters last night, in large part due to Leia. Two conference road wins. That’s the capper. Her fundamentals are so good. I love the way she actually goes up and grabs a rebound down with both hands, emphatically. She’s a good one.
