maz...let me remind you why you titled this thread this way...

you intended it to be smack...just admit it...

in the future post some thing relevant to athletics...for example you could have said.......our women rebounded (no pun) from a really lousy game on thursday and scored 105 on isu...

but then no one would have responded...right...?

mods the point i am trying to make is if...you were less tolerant of some of the griz posting smack on the athletics board (ath) the threads would be more about the cats and less about the griz...

i don't post on the smack board because...to me it is a huge waste of time...i am older than most posters...i don't have time to waste listening (reading) to various griz garbage on this board...because if i want to read that garbage i can go to their board...

lastly i think...except for not sorting the smack off the ath board...the mods do a great job...and who...when you think about it could do a better cat board than this...it is a thankless job at best mostly due to people like me...

almost lastely...in parting i will say when you start a voluntary project...even as worthy as this...a lot of responsibility comes with the territory...enough of the rant...i will try to be more patient with griz fans and mods...

First off, thanks for the compliments on the board. I do appreciate that, and I know rtb and BAC do as well.

Yes I know that responsibility comes with the territory. The problem comes when people don't realize the the creators of this site DO take this very seriously and have had many discussions on how we would run this board and decide to call us out because we don't adhere to what they feel we should be doing.

Are we more tolerant of fans of other teams than some here would like? Yes we are. We are also more tolerant of those Cat fans that have differing opinions than the "blue and gold colored glasses" crowd. This is by choice on our parts, not out of laziness or carelessness. A board like this only works if there are plenty of people with differing opinions, otherwise you just devolve into a bunch of voices saying the same thing to prop each other up, which is not our hope for this board.

I'm very sorry you may not agree with this, and yes sometimes we miss things or make the wrong calls on what to do with people/posts. We do the best we can. As I mentioned in my previous post, the best thing you can do is ignore the idiot posts and pm any/all of us mods that it needs to be dealt with so we will take a look at it.

I'm amazed at how tolerant you guys, and the Griz monitors, are of those idiots.

What? Me? Ok, I confess that I like to stir the pot at times, but hopefully I also use these forums to learn and respond in kind when I think I know something.

It's a great service you both provide. I'm a serious contributor to e-Griz, and would contribute to the Nation, if you'll set something up.

Again, thanks for letting me play in your yard, even though sometimes you dump sand in my shorts.

guilty as charged; but hey, as much as they run their mouths, you know they've got some crap coming when their team goes out and pi$$es down their legs on the easiest road trip in the conference!
No, that would be when UM played in Bozeman. How soon you forgot about that blow-out.

First off I want to say the kmax hit it right on the head. We do a lot of policing on the board yet we try be as open minded as possible to all posts. Sure things slip by once in a while, but for the most part we bust our butts to keep this forum as on topic and enjoyable as possible.

Secondly, couloir, do you know today is SUPER BOWL SUNDAY? Sorry, but I had other things to do then babysit.

Finally, if you want to contribute MaZoo would you like to buy a BobcatNation sweatshirt? :D

Overall, thanks to everyone for posting on this board and being as mindful of the rules as possible so that the three moderators can leave our computers once in a while.

Um... any other options that would keep it anonymous?
