19,827 according to Big Sky box score. I thought I read over 20K somewhere.

Jory Choate. I believe he made the tackle on the opening kickoff. Had them backed up against the students. Delay of game and fumble to follow!

The microphone that Bobby Hauck talked into after the game. I was surprised that thing didn’t kick his ass for all the stupid crap he said. Very well played Mic.
Punters are people too!!

Yeah, that was awesome. I got home today hung over and watched Root’s broadcast and the way they captured the celebration was awesome. There is a drone shot of the stadium and you can see the crowd on the field with students still pouring over the railing and Mony Mony is blasting and the ESG GCG chants from thousands is great. Wasn’t quite as good as it was in person but something that will never be erased from my DVR.

Strength and Conditioning Program, and Nutrition Program.
What they've done in the off-season (and in-season) has not only greatly improved our starters, but has helped us build depth.

Apparently according to the BSC coaches Alleyne is eligible as unsung hero. Blows my mind, but I digress. His hit on Toure on the first play set the tone for they entire game, and largely took that poor chap out for the rest of the afternoon. At one point later in the game Toure caught a pass in space with plenty of room for YAC, but simply melted down into the fetal position without any contact.
My vote is for Alleyne.

Re: Unsung Heroes
I was wondering what he was doing, almost like he was expecting to get hit, waited an extra couple seconds, then realized no one was there, odd. He was probably more worried about fumbling than running at that point.Darth Yoda wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 12:24 pmApparently according to the BSC coaches Alleyne is eligible as unsung hero. Re: Unsung Heroes
Okada, playing for Troy he made some spectacular stops. Stuffing jlm was the biggest one, but he made several open field tackles. He is going to be a bright spot going forward.

Re: Unsung Heroes
Daniel Hardy #44 is Troys backup at SLB. Okada is a DB. But I agree, Okada played a phenomenal game, he's a great tackler.

Re: Unsung Heroes
I just did not see him much before, also I saw him start plays at the linebacker level. It just stood out to me when he made several plays.

Re: Unsung Heroes
Ya he allowed no yards after catch, all day long on JLM. His open field form tackle on 4th down was a beautiful thing!allcat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:07 amI just did not see him much before, also I saw him start plays at the linebacker level. It just stood out to me when he made several plays.

Re: Unsung Heroes
So, what are the chances he plays safety next year? With his tackling and coverage, I think he'd be a good one. Does he have the physical attributes? I think he could also be a lock at corner.91catAlum wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:14 amYa he allowed no yards after catch, all day long on JLM. Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Re: Unsung Heroes
I think he's more of a slot corner/S. Don't think he'd be our best option at perimeter CB.catscat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:18 amSo, what are the chances he plays safety next year? Looking at the depth chart, I'd imagine we see him playing safety next year.

Marshall was phenomenal. 8 carries 81 yards and a TD. Okada and Ifanse as well.

Re: Unsung Heroes
I had mentioned the same thing earlier. Whether he was LB or S, he assumed Troy’s role on the defense with his speed. Troy will play a lot of coverage and can minimize an opponents speed. I thought Okada was asked to do the same things and was a brilliant replacement by Ioane.allcat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:07 amI just did not see him much before, also I saw him start plays at the linebacker level.
