I really don't care about the gritz, Ihope they do well. I only care that we sold out for a Thursday game against a DII school. If you don't have the fever, come to the game, you will catch the infection.

Thanks, I get the concept of SRO (I'll pay back the smartass comment next time I see you

). The temp bleachers are still reserved seats, the announcement per Lamberty's email was that all reserved seats had been sold thus my question of are those being brought in and have also already been sold.
Oh and for the record, it appears that you can still get large blocks of seats for the Griz home opener (I quit when I got up to 20 together).

Liar!

I didn't do anything different than we always do to try and gauge how many tickets are left for Cats games. Go try it yourself then.

Type in 20 or so in the box and it comes up with tickets. You can add multiple 20+ ticket blocks to your order even.
Wow up to 32 tickets together at Washington Griz this close to game 1? that can't possibly be can it?

The Griz have sold more season tickets, than what the cat box holds. I'm sure thos are just student tix and I am sure they will all be sold to students or then they are released to non students. Dream on lil boy!

Looking at the screenshot from griztix, those seats are clearly not in the student section. Makes you look kinda silly, bein' a big Griz fan and all.
Next time, ask your husband for help if you can't figure out the whole section/row/seat thing.

Funny, a gal in Billings needs 4 tix and can't get them from the ticket office through the U of M. Guess u know more than the ticket office at U of M know! Another fact is Griz sell more season tix than your WHOLE stadium holds. I guarantee Griz fans will show up at our stadium than the cat box will get on Thursday night.

First, you guys should just celebrate your success and not worry about what is going on in Missoula because this is really an embarrassment as the tickets available are the returned seats from USD! Season ticket sales still outnumber the seating in your stadium. Enjoy the sellout! You should be pumped as it hasn't happened all that often for you guys and it should be a great time. I know I have enjoyed the continued record crowds in Missoula over the years so I'm confident you will all enjoy a great night of football. Cats have a lot to be excited about and I hate what has gone on in Missoula, but I am and will always be a Griz so my butt will be in the seats that I bought in 92 on Saturday. Rather then wishing the Cats ill over the years or celebrated when things weren't going well, I chose just cheer on the Griz. Personally , I love it when I hear that on a Saturday in Montana the Cats, Griz and Saints have full stadiums. Maybe a select few of you should do the same.

I don't think anyone was seriously hoping (or caring) UM doesn't have a sellout. It looks like someone was just checking the ticket site for UM out of curiousity and because it was a surprise, they mentioned that there are still abundant tickets available via the ticket outlet. The fact that this is worth mentioning should be flattering to Griz fans. I guess you can call it smack, but that's pretty weak smack when you have to basically admit your own amazement.

This IS the smack board you know...
All in good fun. I may be on of the "few" at the game in Missoula Saturday.

Seating capacity of Washington- Grizzly Stadium to 25,217.
Attendance for this past saturday = 25126 so not quite a sell out
The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.

Several reasons there were extra seats...
PlayerRep only required one extra seat for his ego, instead of the usual 3 or 4.
Alpha's lost some weight (must be the diet beer)
UM attorneys are so busy working cases, they had to forgo this first game.
