So if Quinn's trangression going-forward amount to nothing more than what RW did, he will be a model citizen. Unfortunately, he's already done way, way worse than RW ever did (DUI). Of course, almost everyone on this board is guilty of that as well.

Here's to hoping that Quinn (and the rest of us) are done with our drinking and driving days. If that's the case, then all is well.
Lets not forget about his actions at Oklahoma.

If he's able to replicate what he got in trouble for at Oklahoma (getting paid for being a football player), that would probably be a near best-case scenario for him this time around.

Just saying there is more than a DUI that brings his character into question.

Just saying he was an 18 year old kid at the time. If my boss told me to take the day off and I'd still get paid for it I'd do it in a heartbeat. IMO the DUI is a much more serious offense that hopefully he has gotten control of.

And just to show my cynical side (I know this will shock many  ), I think "character" is far, far down the list of attributes the NFL cares about (they may claim otherwise, but I think that's just to the extent it impacts their PR). In fact, having a character that most of us would admire is likely more of a hindrance than an asset when it comes to getting paid to knock other people down in the NFL.

Like BAC said, character is not an issue when you are a free agent playing for rookie minimum. Easy to cut their loses. If Quinn was a high draft pick, than character is an issue as they will have to much money tied up in a player to let him go.
