New article on Tommy...

That's a weird article. Seems to want to push that he is going to disappoint but then really gives nothing more than "it's gonna be a tough transition" to support that. I'd call it nothing more than click-bait but I don't know that Tommy is a big enough deal to generate enough for a such a click-bait style article for anyone other than diehard Cat and/or Raider fans.
It seems like there are many "blog" type articles, and some may be click bait for sure. It's still interesting to see what is being said, though we won't really know anything until the season starts. If he plays at all this season that will be great! We'll just have to see what happens. They didn't draft him under a lot of secrecy for nothing. They know what they got I think.

Raiders mandatory minicamp is now behind us and training camp is up next. Minicamp did offer a good indication of where the roster stands in terms of a depth chart and here is how we can expect the Raiders offense to line up when the Raiders reconvene about a month from today.

WR 1Dont'e Thornton 2Collin Johnson 3Justin Shorter 4Shedrick Jackson
WR 1Tre Tucker 2Key’Shawn Smith 3Ketron Jackson Jr. 4Zakhari Franklin
SWR 1Jakobi Meyers 2Jack Bech 3Alex Bachman 4Kyle Philips 5Tommy Mellott

Well….yeah  There’s obviously a reason I clicked and read it.

I don’t see a way Thornton starts and Bech is a 3rd down WR. Did I miss something in minicamp because Thornton still struggles to run routes.

Some of the guys you have listed ahead of Tommy have zero shot of making the roster, too. Odd list.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

I will never doubt Tommy Mellott. But I think we all realized that he was never going to be a starting WR as a rookie. A major position switch at the NFL level is going to take time.

That's just something ESPN made up. The real depth chart doesn't exist yet.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!
