Common to not here about verbals until players return home and make an announcement Monday or Tuesday. Next weekend will be the big "non verbal" weekend as we are bringing in a lot of our out of state recruits.

Good for NAU. I was really hoping we could land him but thought it might be a long shot.

Also, sounded like offensive guard Taylor Tuiasosopo had a good time. Thanked everyone.

Thank you to @CoachChoate_MSU and all the coaches for making me feel right at home! #GoCats
Also gave a shoutout to his fellow Polynesians.

Also, shoutout to my usos Tyrone, Toti, Joe, and Koni for showing me a good time.
Lewis Kidd, the big bodied DE/DT from Minnesota, also started to follow Michael Pitre, Kane Ioane, and Courtney Messingham on Twitter. Previously had only followed Brian Armstrong. The more coaches the kids follow, usually the better.

Gotta say Vim I enjoy your analysis. I'm just an idiot who loves his team, but you guys that understand the game better are appreciated.

Maxwell from Lewistown is an amazing all around kids. Hard worker on and off the field and a pleasure to coach. I can't wait to watch him in the Shrine game and beyond.

The list has started to get much smaller due to other prospects committing this weekend. If the kids committed somewhere, I basically removed them. Again, these are just kids on twitter. Not every kid has a twitter account so this is in no way, shape, or form a complete list. This is just what I have seen from these kids on twitter. The picture will become even more clear after we figure out who is coming on a visit these last two weeks. If I see that a kid is visiting from announcing it on twitter, I will report it. But if Colter finds out and reports it on Skyline, I won't just throw it on here. Go subscribe!

Quarterback
Blake Gregory 6'3", 170 lbs. QB WA Sammamish (2-star) (Visited MSU 1/15-1/17)
Chris Murray 6'4", 195 lbs. QB CA Lawndale (Visiting within last two weeks; offers from EWU and us and will most likely decide between the two)
Eric Barriere 6'0", 185 lbs. QB CA La Habra (3-star) (offers from NAU, UNC, Hawaii, EWU, Sac State)
Jack Telenko 6'2", 202 lbs. QB CA Los Alamitos (2-star) (holds offer from MSU and has a wide array of interest from all levels)
Darius Vines 6'1", 180 lbs. QB CA Ventura (2-star) (holds an offer from MSU and EWU)
Hank Hughes 6'3", 185 lbs. QB TX Richardson (2-star) (holds an offer from MSU and many others; decommited from William & Mary back in December)
Kamden Brown 6'2" 190 lbs. QB CA Covina (has interest from MSU; is followed by Choate and Pitre on twitter; no known offer)

- All these quarterbacks are still in the hunt if you ask me. Not a bad problem to have!

Running Back
Theo Dawson 6'2", 222 lbs. RB WY Jackson (2-star) (holds offers from MSU, Air Force, Wyoming, Yale, and PWO offers from multiple Pac-12 schools)
Rey Green 5'11", 195 lbs. RB WA Vancouver (3-star) (holds offers from MSU and a ton of others including FBS schools)

Wide Receiver
Chris Hunter 6'3", 215 lbs. WR WA Lakewood (holds offers from MSU, Idaho, Idaho State, South Alabama, and UTEP)
Jacob Hadley 6'6", 210 lbs. WR MT Billings (holds an offer from Montana but it is unknown what type of offer; no offer from MSU yet but Hadley is from a Bobcat family; will visit 1/29)
Josh Fink 61" 180 lbs. WR TX Coppell (Matt Miller recently followed him on twitter so may be some late interest from the Texas product)
Justin May 6'2" 180 lbs. WR MT Chester/Joplin/Inverness (the word on the street is that MSU wants May to be a PWO and he will likely get a visit the final two weeks)

Tight End
Cole Hoover 6'4", 225 lbs. TE/DE IL Charleston (has light interest from us with no offer)
Gunner Gibson 6'3", 220 lbs. TE ID Hailey (has interest from us and we have an Idaho recruiting connection)
Ben Hardy 6'6", 210 lbs. TE MT Fairview (has interest from both MSU and UM; would not be surprised if he walks on to UM or MSU)

Offensive Line
Donte Harrington 6'3", 295 lbs. OL CA San Clemente (2-star) (visited Cal Poly last week; don't think we have an offer; will take him off list if nothing develops soon)
Tanner Hawthorne 6'6", 275 lbs. OL AZ Peoria (2-star) (visited Hawaii last week and will visit UM this weekend; the Griz have a good shot of landing him; we would have to get him on a visit in the last week)
Keli'I Montibon 6'3", 290 lbs. OL HI Kea'au (2-star) (has an offer from MSU, Delaware State, and Army)
David Falo 6'2", 285 lbs. OL CA San Diego (2-star) (has an offer from MSU, Sac State, Tennessee-Martin, and a few others; Sac State is really after him; he can play both sides of the ball well)
Taylor Tuiasosopo 6'4", 315 lbs. OL CA Lancaster (2-star) (visited MSU on 1/15-1/17; also has strong interest from Sac State; our visit with him went well)
Sean Tulette 6'3", 283 lbs. OL CA Los Alimitos (2-star) (has been on our board all year; has other offers from a few big sky schools and some lower level FBS programs; need to get him up on a visit; good player)
Kayode Awosika 6'5", 255 lbs. OL MN Maple Grove (2-star) (visited NDSU last week, UNI week before and has a PWO offer from Minnesota; a kid who has a ton of room to add weight to an athletic frame; a really good offensive tackle prospect)
Korbin Sorenson 6'6", 275 lbs. OL WA Kennewick (along with Awosika, Sorenson is one of our top offensive tackle prospects left on our board; visit schedule includes: Idaho 1/15-1/17, Portland State 1/22-1/24, and MSU 1/29-1/31; we have a good shot at landing him if he doesn't commit on the spot to PSU next week)
Elijah Lugo 6'4", 280 lbs. OL WA Graham (has interest from MSU, EWU, Idaho, Hawaii, and went on an official to Navy last week; another good two-way player)
Scott McIvor 6'5", 270 lbs. OL WA Bellingham (another kid that has interest from us and Portland State; if others drop off our board, Scott may get an offer)

Athletes (Primary Position)
Jaylan Brown 5'9", 173 lbs. RB/DB CA Chino Hills (2-star) (has held an offer from MSU since last February; watch out for a visit from the two-way athlete the last two weeks)
Bryant Perkinson 5'11", 180 lbs. CB CA Lawndale (holds an offer from MSU, Sac State, and Weber State; we have a good shot at him)
Edward Vander 6'0", 210 lbs. RB CA Paramount (3-star) (The top athlete on our board, MSU and NAU are both after him hard and we will try to get him on a visit in the last few weekends; can be a game changer on both sides of the ball)
Easton Trakel 5'10", 180 lbs. WR WA Tumwater (2-star) (We had an early offer out to him last year; Portland State has put in interest; he had a bad hamstring during his senior year so not much senior tape)
Devion Clayton 6'3", 193 lbs. CB HI Wahiawa (We have an offer out there to him; Hawaii is really after him)
Elijah Mcleod 6'2", 200 lbs. WR WA Spanaway (2-star) (We have had some recent interest on him; Jeff Choate follows on twitter)

Defensive Tackle
Omar Dyles 6'1", 285 lbs. DT WA Bellevue (2-star) (has offers from MSU, UM, and possibly Northern Iowa; it may come down to us and the Griz for Dyles)
Raemo Trevino 6'0", 275 lbs. DT WA Seattle ((A kid from Ballard high school who has verballed to PSU and holds an offer from Idaho State; no offer from us yet but could develop into something later on)

Howard Houston 6'2", 310 lbs. DT Foothill CC (Holds an offer but will most likely be staying around Louisiana and surrounding states because closer schools have also offered)
Elijah Piper 6'4", 280 lbs. DT WA Univ. Place (3-star) (In m opinion, Piper would be the top get in this crop; holds an offer, has visited EWU (8th), is visiting Fresno State (15th), and does not know who he will visit last two weeks...hopefully MSU!; if he doesn't verbal to Fresno State during this week, we have a legitimate shot if we get him on a visit in the final two weeks)
Christian Bluiett 6'1", 265 lbs. DT TX Beaumont (2-star) (Holds offers from New Mexico State and McNeese State among others; would be a long shot)
Justin Andrews 6'1", 265 lbs. DT FL Lakeland (3-star) (Will most likely be going to either Florida Atlantic or Tennessee State; Coach Armstrong has a connection but it would be a long shot)
Trace Bradshaw 6'4", 230 lbs. DT MT Bozeman (The best remaining in-state kid, he has gotten steady interest from us and UM; if Chase Benson commit to MSU, I wouldn't be surprised if Trace goes to UM; UM coaches were at his basketball game last night in Missoula)
David Jiminez 6'2", 295 lbs. DT Citrus College (There has been some interest from this kid since last year but no offer confirmation anywhere; has good size)
Jeremy Hodowanic 6'2", 285 lbs. DT TX Forney (2-star) (Navy Transfer) (We have a legitimate shot at landing him; that is all I know)
Keith Moore 6'4", 285 lbs. DT WA Bremerton (has gone on a visit to Eastern and is currently visiting PSU; we have interest that is all I know)
Cam Hill 6'1", 265 lbs. DT WA Sammamish (This kid would be more in the mold of Riley Griffiths from last year; still a kid who can get bigger and make a good noseguard; I think we only have minimal interest however)

Defensive End
Mason Vega 6'4", 215 lbs. DE CA Racho Cuc. (2-star) (He is a tweener prospect who doesn't hold an offer from MSU but we have interest; Portland State and Idaho have strong interest)
Ryan Bowman 6'1", 248 lbs. DE FL Bradenton (3-star) (A long shot offer because he is a super-talented kid; has offers from MSU, UM, and many others that include FBS programs; we will see I guess; no verbal to anywhere yet)
Tyler Hawkins 6'3", 235 lbs. DE CA Palm Springs (3-star) (Holds an offer from MSU, San Diego, and San Diego State; a hybrid DE/OLB prosepct, we are trying to get him up on a visit; was a top recruit from the previous regime)
Tim Newman 6'3", 230 lbs. DE CA San Juan (Another hybrid DE/OLB who is super athletic; he put up a video on youtube of him catching a ball while doing a backflip; has offers from us, Idaho State, and San Diego; Idaho State really is after him)
Eli Alford 6'1", 260 lbs. DE UT Park City (Eli has a wide array of interest from Michigan State, Miami of Ohio, MSU, Utah State; no verbal to anywhere yet so watch for a potential visit next two weeks)
Cole Rosling 6'4", 225 lbs. DE MT Helena (visited MSU 1/15-1/17 and will take an official to Montana next week; it will come down to us or them; he had a good visit here)
Devin Maua 6'3", 240 lbs. DE MT Billings (we have interest but no offer; assuming he will be a potential PWO candidate)
Kyle Finch 6'4", 210 lbs. DE MT Dillon (we have interest but no offer; assuming he will be a potential PWO candidate; I have spoken highly of him over the past month; a lot of potential)
Gus Herzog 6'3", 220 lbs. DE MT Helena (Current Montana Tech Commit who is still getting interest from MSU)
Jordan Greenlee 6'4", 245 lbs. DE CA Napa (2-star) (has interest from MSU; Lewis Kidd verballing may affect his status; same type of player)
Jake Richardson 6'3", 230 lbs. DE/OLB MN Minneapolis (2-star) (Led the highest level in Minnesota in sacks his senior year at 14; a very good rush-end prospec who is most likely visiting in these final two weeks; has offers from multiple Missouri Valley schools and MSU)
Tyrik Jones 6'3", 225 lbs. DL FL Plantation (is reportedly coming on a visit this weekend the 22nd; a late offer who is another pass-rusher)
Austin Crawford 6'2", 220 lbs. DE WA Kennewick (has late interest from us and UM; may be a PWO candidate who could also play tight end)

Linebacker
Jeremiah Pritchard 6'0", 210 lbs. LB HI Wahiawa (3-star) (The top true outside linebacker on our board; has offers from MSU and a boat load of others; if he doesn't come on a visit the final two weeks, our chances are slim)
Ryan Boehm 6'3", 225 lbs. LB CA Temecula (3-star) (The top MLB on our board; has offers from MSU and a boat load of others; like Pritchard, if we don't get him up here the final two weeks, slim chances)
Ikem Okeke 6'0", 210 lbs. LB NV Las Vegas (3-star) (Most likely going to Hawaii; we have an offer and he still hasn't committed anywhere yet; watch for a potential visit)
Payton O'Reilly 6'3", 225 lbs. LB MT Bozeman (The Bozeman product has not gotten an offer from MSU per Colter; if other players fall off the board, who knows; Payton is still one of the better prospects in Montana)
Siupeli Finau 6'1", 245 lbs. LB CA Compton (the big thumper of a linebacker has interest from us, UM, SMU, and others but know known offer from MSU; another kid that could get an offer late)
Semisi Fakasiieiki 6'3", 231 lbs. LB CA Compton (Current San Diego State commit who has interest from us; a hybrid DE/OLB who I'm not taking off the board quite yet; his commitment just doesn't seem as firm)

Cornerback
Jalen Russell 6'0", 180 lbs. CB CA Murrieta (3-star) (Strong interest from Hawaii, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, but no offer from MSU; Pitre follows on twitter)
Kam Lott 5'9", 180 lbs. CB GA Military JC (Says he holds an offer from MSU; was not much action from MSU coaches on his twitter before he protected his account)
Andrew Davis 6'0", 164 lbs. CB CA Upland (3-star) (Another good DB recruit who said on twitter last week that he will choose between UCLA, MSU, and Dixie State; an odd mix of schools but the UCLA offer must be a PWO offer; you would think he would choose us over Dixie State; will know more if he actually comes on a visit)

Safety
Calin Criner 5'10", 185 lbs. S ID Meridian (MSU coach Byron Hout stopped following him and he just had a good visit with Idaho State; assuming he will either go to Idaho or Idaho State; liked his tape)
Darrius Vukobradovich 5'11", 191 lbs. S CA Smi Valley (2-star) (has an offer from MSU and two FBS offers with one being possibly Washington State; hasn't committed anywhere yet but he looks like a long shot; no coaches follow him on twitter)
Jordan Happle 6'1", 190 lbs. S OR Portland (2-star) (has an offer from MSU, many other Big Sky teams, Hawaii, and some interest from Oregon State; no coaches follow him on twitter)
Mushawn Knowles 6'0", 205 lbs. S WA Tacoma (a sleeper satefy from Washington; Choate followed him on twitter about three weeks ago; don't know about an offer)
Dallas Mack 6'1", 190 lbs. S MT Worden (Huntley Project) (has preferred walk on interest from MSU)

Dang! Was worried about that. Thought he would make an excellent CB - may even challenge for playing time. But tough to turn down an FBS opportunity and 4-5 years of living in Hawaii

Andrew Davis (3-star), Bryant Perkinson, Devion Clayton, Jaylan Brown (2-star), and others that we probably don't know about. I see us bringing in two more corners and at least two safeties into this class. Do not know about any strong safety recruits right now. Strong meaning legit chance at landing one on the list above. Again, the picture will become more clear this weekend. Remember we already have 2-star Damien Washington committed.

Added to list:

Kainoa Fuiava 6'5", 295 lbs. DT CA Downey (Recent interest from Coach Ioane and Hout; big run stuffer; played defensive end and was pretty decent on his feet for 295 lbs.)

In terms of finding secondary players, it can't hurt our odds that Gerald Alexander is finally here.

Don't say that or else you'll jinx it like the 5 "big recruit" DT's we have tried to insert into that spot! haha ](*,) #-o

Fairview tight end Ben Hardy had two good solid years of contact with the former staff, primarily Coach Ash.
His older brother Greg slipped through McEndoo's hands in a muffed recruiting trip. McEndoo thought Fairview was Fairfield and started the wrong way one day. #-o
Current staff is somewhat starting over with him. Hope all goes well. He is a gifted natural athlete with upside. Ben would take some coaching and work to improve to
the FCS level but has the raw tools to get there.
There is some out of state talent competing for the position. I know Ben is a ND kid attending a MT high school. I am not sure how that affects tuition. I think in some of those school districts they may be treated as in state? If not it may take some portion of a scholarship to land him.

I wonder if we will have any recruits that play both sides of the ball?

The Nelson kid out of U of Oregon played both ways with impact this year.

Looks like there are some potential candidates on this list. I believe the decision to play both ways is more mental at many positions than physical.

Once again Vim thanks for all the work on the updates. The tab here on BN has fallen way behind and apparently been abandoned.

Colter pretty much eliminated that and is reporting everything on Skyline now. Just letting you know. All updated info is there.
