Running back was right there

A very weak attempt to complete a “pass” when in clear duress. Hard sell to say it wasn’t grounding. Was the running back even looking? I didn’t see any evidence that he could’ve caught it or even was looking for the ball. Horribly weak throwing motion where he was obliviously trying to get rid of the ball. Also didn’t make the line of scrimmage. The only shred of argument against grounding is the rb and imo that is a weak argument and very hard to defend.

Who knows I’m biased and already frustrated with the officiating after the turnover on downs that was was ignored.

Things are beyond clunky. But got the lead.

Love the energy and urgency of the offense so far. We play very very slow even though we have the ability to play fast. Looks like we have another NAU road game barn-burner on our hands.

What’s weird is we played Eastern and San Diego with urgency and were striking fast. Heck even against Oregon.

Seems like with explosive teams we play slow to motivate givethem possessions I stead of being aggressive

They called him on a stop on one of the drives before everyone got the game. Either they called the wrong name (Ben and Greg) or he's playing

I’d argue it was a fumble, not grounding. It very clearly wasn’t grounding by the rule book.
