Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Yeah I posited Dallas as a landing spot and everyone chimed in naming their favorite teams in some cases pairing him with an already stacked WR room. Outside of Lamb the WR and Ferguson the TE, Dallas has some serious needs for skill position players. Brandin Cooks signed with the Saints, Rico Dowdle the top RB signed with Carolina. Here's the real clincher though, the Cowboys have 7 picks in the last 3 rounds of the draft including 3 in the 7th round. I think Dallas is a real possibility for Tommy.
Dallas has a good history with Montana-linked players/coaches.

One thing will be mildly fun though is to watch the meltdown from the green and yellow when Tommy gets drafted and theirs does not.

I haven’t been following it much. But I thought he was projecting 3rd/4th round.

Their "Fan" that has been relentless in disparaging Tommy all around YouTube will have the all-time meltdown of meltdowns if that happens.

I have seen next to zero draft buzz on Miller. None of the ESPN guys list him in their top 12 QB's and haven't mentioned him anywhere that I have listened. He's only 6'1", his measurables are nowhere near Tommy's and his passing numbers are pedestrian despite the number of starts he has.

For what it's worth Jordan Reid did a 7 round Mock over the weekend and released it today. No Miller.

I don't put much stock in Reid's analysis though. In '22 a week before the draft he gave his FCS projections and had Troy Andersen as a UDFA. That's not missing, that's flat out wrong.

If Tommy had been around back in the days of the original XFL I think he would have been wise to embrace the stupid controversy manufactured by the pompous self-important NDSU and Griz assholes, and go by Tommy "Trash Can" Mellott as his nickname. No sideline would be safe.

@GermanShepherd1983 has gone on just about every YouTube video on Tommy (and other Bobcat videos too) that he can find and commented about the trashcan tip. Tommy really got under his skin. I never thought a Bison fan could have such thin skin.

That smells way more like a disgruntled gris fan to me.

I'm pretty sure its a bison fan. He definitely thinks the trash can gate was an indictment on Tommy's character. Apparently he doesn't know what its like to move that fast on the field and have to slow down.

Predictions for this weekend.

3 Big Sky guys that will be drafted:
Jackson Slater
Marcus Wehr
Tommy Mellott

3 Big Sky guys I think have a outside shot at getting drafted:
Lan Larison
Efton Chism
Elijah Ponder

3 Big Sky guys that can get into camp and make a team:
Brody Grebe
Brendan Hall
Brandon Casey

I think Bergen could be a mini camp invite but his Pro Day didn't do him any favors and he's just not big enough or fast enough. He put up similar or worse numbers than Brody who is a lot, lot bigger.

Big Sky adjacent players:

Teddye Buchanan
Cam Skattabo
Sebastian Valdez (camp guy not drafted.... sigh)
I feel like I'm missing someone else here???

Just curious what the pro day numbers were for Cam Miller?

Thanks

Also, was a little surprised at Bergens pro day.

32" vertical
9'03' Broad
4.82 40
4.32 shuttle

He only measured 6007 (thats under 6'1") and RAS was 6.09 (not great)

These for a QB are not a death nail due to the position but when your a fringe prospect they most certainly don't help.

4.82 40 and not one of our defenders could catch him on that F&^*$&*% run play? Ya... still bitter.

I yelled QB run before the ball was snapped (I have witnesses). Tommy was right. The best team did not win. That game will haunt me for a very, very long time.
